- My unfortunate MRDM Ban ; I was playing as ERT and threw Nerve Gas into D-Block when I shouldn't have. (I have far passed learned form that mistake and swore to myself I would never do it again)
Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?
- I'm applying for Chief of Security because the one thing I have strived for while as a Captain before my departure a week ago was to see change. I wanted to see some positive and major changes to General Security, but due to my low positioning I couldn't make or see any of those changes I desperately wanted to see. I wanted to see GENSEC thrive in a positive light with our fellow Departments and have healthy relationships with them. Now that I see an opportunity to reach out and make that change, I'm taking my chance and applying to make those changes myself and to follow in the paths the previous General Security Chiefs have created for not just myself, but for the rest of the General Security Department.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?
- I believe I'm suitable for Chief of Security because I am very reliable when it comes to responsibility and leadership. I have been more than kind to everyone I have came across, but I've also learned and harnessed the ability to know when to put my foot down when needed. I have been apart of GENSEC for almost 2 solid years, and GSD Captain for many months and I have (hopefully) solidified my name as the 'nicest' GSD Captain during my time as one. I know when to become stern and I know when to hand out punishments as needed. I strive to make positive relations with everyone in the Foundation, teach and make new policies, turn GENSEC members into leaders for their future careers, give GENSEC members a fighting chance at the respect they so desperately need and deserve, and I want to be able to lead the General Security Department into a better shining light with the changes I wish to get across.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security?
- Teaching GENSEC members responsibility, new and updated policies, and how to be their own leader
- Implementing new policies and updating old ones to make the department strive towards a greater future
- Helping, understanding, & listening to the Captain team and taking their opinions and making decisions from there
- Managing and teaching new Captains
- Working closely with SA & Ethics to try and figure out new policy changes that could benefit GENSEC
- Attempting to strengthen bonds with other departments to help each other
- Making sure GENSEC is in good standing with Site Command and other leaders
Please give some lore about your Chief of Security:
A Sergeant for many weeks, a Captain for many months, and a dedication to become the Chief of Security... After her incident including a D-Class, Monica had pushed herself to be more strong willed and more independent. Although still keeping up her friendly and nice attitude towards most of the Foundation personnel, she still kept her stern attitude towards D-Class and those unwilling to follow orders. She pushed herself to be the best in her department, and she made sure that she earned her respect the honest way. Although she still gets an earful from those pushing her buttons, she had learned the lesson of just not listening to those trying to tear her down. When she noticed that a positioning for Chief of Security had opened up, she knew she immediately had to take her chance. She didn't lose an eye for nothing after all.
After many countless nights of teaching GENSEC, operating her teams, and doing her job as a GENSEC Captain, she had finally landed her job as 'Miss. Chief of Security', a title she never though she would think to get. With her new positioning, she seemed somewhat happier within the Foundation. Mostly found within D-Block Checkpoint, she can still be seen leading GENSEC to it's fullest potential while also reaching out to her fellow Department leaders to see were relations lie with each other and continuing to ask Site Admins and Ethics about new policy updates and potential changes to further grow the General Security Department along side her fellow Chief of Security, Security Captains, & Security Sergeants.
