For how long have you played on CG SCP: Uh Since 2024, I guess? It's when I started, but I didn't play consistently back then.
Age: 18
In what country are you located?: United States
Time zone: CST
Character name(s): Mortaniel
Civilian name: John Prices
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): US of A
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: I am an E-11 SGT, GOC PVT, and ISD Investigator
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: Yes, I received a toxicity warning when I first joined cause I did not understand what was acceptable on the server and what was not
. Why are you applying for an Internal Security Inspector? I am applying for a Security Inspector because I have genuine fun inside the Internal Security Department. Generally, it isn't some chore, and the requirements are very basic. It is also fun roleplay, and to include everyone in the roleplay is a very good experience. So I suppose it would be to foster roleplay and have fun. Another reason would be to help out the Department in general. A lot of the time, Inspectors are needed and never available. I think I can change this since I am often on and often available.
What makes you suitable for an Internal Security Inspector? I am active, and I am willing to put forth the effort, and I am always willing to learn. I am on for a lot of the time since work doesn't take up much time while I wait on a certification, although I will still be really active after I get that. I am always willing to learn from my previous mistakes. For example, I blew a case because I didn't have body cam footage of Chain of Evidence or the Individual's keycard. I have never made that mistake again. I am willing to put forth any effort needed to help the department. I have spent days on investigative documents for the department and help out in operations! I think these make me qualify for the position.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?: An Ideal Security Inspector is someone willing to listen to their lower-level agents or Investigators. This is the same feeling as an NCO within E-11. Everyone can provide a good idea, no matter their rank or experience. Another good quality is someone willing to admit their mistakes and not hide from them. A Leader needs to be able to admit when they are wrong or have done wrong so that it does not hinder their abilities in the future. The Last Quality I think an Inspector needs is being able to understand that everyone is human. New agents are going to make mistakes; most will be small and won't matter; it's good to treat them like that and not make them that big of a deal.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?: One really? I don't think most my documents are too major. It's mostly arrest logs. I did write up an Incident report that was 14 pages long that involved an Incident Report with SCP 610 and 4 different divisions. The nature of what made it good was the amount of detail included, with proof and the witness reports involved inside it.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?: The Internal Security Inspectors are like the Managers. They organize people during situations, take reports of misconduct, and help their new agents or investigators with whatever tasks they need. They are also responsible for the recruitment of new agents!
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security: I think I would be a good leadership holder because I understand the authority of each situation. Most situations won't involve ISD Authority; it is just them helping out whatever divisions need it. Additionally, I have some decent experience in Leadership, not CL4 Leadership, but non-commissioned officers. I think generally, if you ask those who have worked with me would tell you that I am a good leader, and am willing to learn from those under me. I also always try to remain fair and impartial, a lot of situations are dealt with harshly, that is not what I wanna do. I would like to deal with things in the fairest way possible. There is the letter of the law, and then the spirit of it. I wish to focus on the spirit while still following the letter.
Character Backstory: Mortaniel started out as just a normal General Security Operative. Soon, he was recruited into the Internal Security Department after passing multiple trials given by the Department. Before he had joined the military, he had worked for a police department as a detective, reinforcing investigative tactics, making him perfect for the Internal Security Department. The first case he experienced was a dismembered technical expert that had his bones put on display. It was his first real taste of what the Department deals with in the facility. It has gave him the morbid view on the investigations around the foundation, put things into black and white.
