What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- What makes me the best candidate is my experience in leadership and RP leading roles which enable me to create or follow RP scenarios with efficiency and possibly creating a fresh perspective for those around me. Having been around the server for a while and being involved in a variety of GOIs and other regiments I'd say has given me knowledge on how a non-combative role interacts with those around them and the regiment/department they're apart of to function at full potential while having the capability of creating new potential for the Ethics department specifically. With my time in O-1 and observing multiple situations regarding other ECMs and ECAs I'm confident I've gained a grasp of what it is I'm expected to do and the duties I perform to assist their tasks. If given the opportunity, I'd like to take the chance given to me and make something of myself to further better the experiences of Ethics and my fellow site members while fulfilling my duties to the best of my ability.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- Acting as a voice or stepping stone for commands passed down by Ethics
- Authorizing AA for combatives when needed
- Signing off on documents/projects in ECM's stead
- Being a bridge between other site departments and Ethics
- Relaying and updating information for Ethics and observing personnel for possible investigations
- Issuing work permits to D-Class
- Acting as emergency manager when lack there of
Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- ECA personnel Mortarion Barbarus carries himself with a sense of pride and dread. Being involved in numerous incidents regarding site issues whether that involve breaches, treason, inhumane acts, you name it and he has seen it. Justice is blind but not cruel and his heart still holds out for what it means to be human for if we forget that then what makes us different from the SCPs we fight to keep hidden, protected, or contained. Mortarion has never been seen without his half-face plate mask and a hood to cover his scars, why he wears it is mostly unknown though rumors say he is cursed with a plague that remains inside his body attempting to eat away at his very soul while every waking moment is spent keeping it at bay. Until the day comes where he draws his last breath means that every day spent living is to create a better world, better environment for his fellow site staff, maintaining the true meaning of humanity through proper ethical procedures and practices, and following Ethic's orders to the letter without hesitation or question. In the grimdark of immoral practices, the stalking eyes of morality and justice will always be prowling to maintain control and order from those who wish to betray that which separates us from the monsters, and the one to take the mantel of this burden is no other than Mortarion Barbarus; the dedicated assistant to the committee that keeps humanity morales in check: Ethics.
