What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?: I believe I would be the best candidate for Ethics Comittee Assistant because I have had a lot of experience regarding ethics. During my time as an Internal Affairs Ambassador, I have dealt with a lot. From issuing minor punishments to small time codex violators, to building up cases againts junior CL4 personnel for unethical or unprofessional behavior. Because of Internal Affair's close relationship with the Ethics Committee I would argue that no other first time CL4 whitelist would give the valuable experience needed to understand ethics and by extension, prepare oneself to take a position in the Ethics Committee.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?: Ethics Committee Assistants are the Left-Hand-Men of members belonging to the Ethics Committee. They act on behalf of Ethics Committee Members and are tasked with ensuring that site operations are in strict compliance with the Code of Ethics. When Ethics Committee Members are not present, Assistants may act in their stead. Similarly, Assistants can issue orders to MTF O-1 when Ethics Committee Members are not present.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Nikolai Nikolski was born in the town of Yurga, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. During his upbringing as a youth, he had a great sense of community amongst his friends and family. He would be out of the house most of the time, enjoying the company of his friends .
As he grew older, his want to help his community only grew stronger. And when he became an adult, he signed up for the police academy. And while he was an exellect candidate, he was met with opposition and unfairness from his instructors. Nevertheless, despite his struggle, he would graduate his class. This would be his first taste of the corruption of the system. It would be during his time as a police officer, that he would end up exposing his regional chief for secretly running illicit business to fund their personal wealth.
In light of his accomplishment, Nikolai was offered a job with the Ministry of the Interior in Moscow. Nikolai would spend the next 11 years uncovering political scandals that involved high ranking members of the Police Forces, and the Ministry of the Interior. But, Nikolai was not satisfied with his position. No matter how hard he tried, whenever he brought down one corrupt individual, it seemed even more would take their place. Nikolai felt lost in an endless vicious cycle with no clear end in sight. That is, until he was approached by a man who made him an offer.
A SCP Agent, who was undercover as a member of the FSB gave Nikolai a choice. He could either stay where he is now, a world plagued by rampant corruption and greed. Or, he would go with the Agent, and learn about the true state of the world. Nikolai would come to believe that that work that the SCP Foundation does, ensuring that the ones he loved and the community he cared so much about would remain safe, would assure him in his mind that this line of work would suit him well.
Nikolai agreed. He joined the foundation as an General Security officer, keeping the peace and maintaining order. Eventually earning his place in the Internal Affairs Department, where he would create very close bonds with those he worked alongside with. Through his years of service to the Internal Affairs Department, his ambition grew. Friends and colleagues he had known for a while had either surpassed him, or moved on to different oppertunities. He now sees his oppertunity to rise even higher. And he is content on achieving his wildest dreams in the SCP Foundation.
