What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
I would prefer -3 over -4, but with many applicants wishing for O5 its up to the current O5. I'm applying because, though I might be an Ethics assistant now, I know I'm able to be competent while making decisions as an O5. I want to be inclusive with the community and allow more things to happen while keeping things realistic. Unfortunately, some changes that gave people more IC freedom are the cause of most of the problems. The IC policy changes I wish to bring, such as revoking the CL3 Gun permit policy and replacing it with nothing, actually improve RP and give multiple departments the means to enforce IC policy and laws. The multiple shady deals being made are not being contested due to the IC policy that makes it so you can't. As O5, I do not wish to use the role as leverage to get what I want, but rather use the character in ways that involve others. RP is a slippery slope, and I see too many people using their IC and OOC positions to force an outcome they want. I'm the opposite. I want to bring back Common Sense RP, where IC decisions give IC repercussions. (in MTFs, PKs, Tribunals, Demotions)
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
A couple of things make me the best candidate for O5 are that I've been CL5 before, and I'll use the skills that I've learned from all aspects of my time on the server to mend, create, and lead. I wish to take what the O5 are now and enhance it even further. Whether that constitutes running off my own doctrine from the others, while still working and backing each other. What I feel the O5 needs right now is people who are a foundation, People who can complete tasks on their own while operating as a whole. Someone with ideas to change and create for the betterment of the server and behind the scenes. I've held a multitude of SR RP Leadership Positions that prepared me for Ethics, and the same applies to O5. The longer I play this server, the more I understand what people want from Leadership positions. I plan to be a no BS CL5, I will act on things I feel are unfair, I will fix things that aren't within the standard. If you need me, I am responsive. I'm here to be a pillar of the community, fostering better interactions and more roleplay.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
Judging tribunals of SR CL4 members of staff (Site admin)
Extending departments with tasks
Signing proposals from research and medical
Authorizing AA when needed
SOS calling ERT when breaches get too extreme
Voting on Foundation-wide policy changes with the Ethics Committee
Assisting departments in conjunction with Site admin and ethics
Creating Orders for OSA's and A1 to complete
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
Selection of Site Director
Hearing appeals of demotions and or removals
Accepting and denying OSA applications
Selecting a new A1 Commander
