Special Containment Procedures
SCP-5692-29 is contained at Site-322 inside a standard humanoid containment cell. It is to be allowed freedom around its current containment site with Clearance Level 2 access. SCP-5692-29 was informed of their clearance access during their stay in Site-322 after Site Director Paul Lague had reviewed their file and seen their previous instances of assisting and helping Site-322 personnel. SCP-5692-29 is allowed to make requests for any commodities or appliances. Clearance level 1 Personnel are allowed to test and interview SCP-5692-29 with written permission from clearance level 2 research personnel. SCP-5692-29 responds to its own designation and its nickname of "Aladatu"
Description
SCP-5692-29 is a sentient humanoid covered in a layer of polar bear hair; age was hard to obtain as a mixture of cell ages, and appearance was a hurdle, but it was a median between 28 and 34, standing at 6'11, its voice is a slight static and feedback on itself occasionally. With a facial covering of unknown origin. Inspection of this mask after carefully taking it off SCP-5692-29 has shown it to consist of glass, electronic parts such as a CPU, LED drive board, 30v circular power supply, and SCP-1360 mesh embedded in a steel frame. The back metal devices are seemingly small reception enhancement devices and are found to require a radio connection; otherwise, they emit a low static sound as reported by SCP-5692-29 if not assigned. They function as ears and are connected to the back of its skull, pulling on the upper nerves and connected to where its previous ear canal and nerves were. The face had experienced the most change, considering the mask it was found wearing had been conducting electrical currents through its body and a strong material found on the inside. Its body has been identified as partially human, but with a new instance of an unknown SCP-5692 genome. Questioning SCP-5692 about -29's appearance, it claimed that he was trying to get to Earth to escape a collective called the Fervor Proactivity Initiative. Asking about the Fervor Proactivity Initiative, SCP-5692 only claimed to know that they were trying to get control over other species and control DNA structures to include electronics. Further information on this is to be obtained from other SCP-5692 instances.
Item History
SCP-5692-29 was found at an unmarked facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by MTF Tau-51 inside a tank connected to wires and lines stabbed into several parts of its body. Upon retrieval by Site-322 Quick Response Forces, both SCP-5692-29 and the liquid inside the tank were taken to Site-322 for containment and analysis. Further examination of SCP-5692-29's DNA had shown them to be a previous EMT who had gone missing in the area responding to an EMS call, whose name was Jacob Vihaan. After this was discovered, it was decided to keep the mission person's case open, and no action was to be taken to cover up his missing case, as a damaging of the veil had not occurred. SCP-5692-29 awoke several hours later after being set inside a secure humanoid containment cell in Site-322. The substance SCP-5692-29 was found to be submerged in was perfluorocarbon fluids and diluted SCP-1360 DNA. Inspection of the genome structures of SCP-5692-29 revealed it to be a mixture of an unknown bear species, closely resembling polar bears, and human DNA. According to the computers and lab equipment, there was a procedure done on SCP-5692-29 involving the merging of electrical components and alien DNA. This was stated by the facility after MTF Tau-51 Operatives attempted to open the tank, as it was incomplete and could lead to severe side effects.
Containment History
During SCP-5692-29's initial year in containment, researchers and containment personnel had conducted sentience, intelligence, and personality tests with sampling procedures for more information on its current condition. Containment personnel had delivered food into its cell before a incident involving one Containment personnel and SCP-5692-29's violent interaction as the personnel had told SCP-5692-29 to go to the other side of its containment cell as per humanoid containment procedures but SCP-5692-29 rushed the guard in a attempt to escape but was subdued by containment personnel with a standard issue metal baton, damaging its facial visor before its containment procedures were updated to include a food slot into its containment door. Technical staff had tried to repair the visor with usual glass tempering methods but were deemed too risky to attempt and break it further. This situation had resulted in reduced testing and removal of free time until further notice. Its second year in containment had revolved around trying to keep SCP-5692-29's behavior and personality checked by Site-322 medical personnel. Several doctors, including Doctor Marley Mooney, had conducted several psychological tests to try and understand SCP-5692-29, but it had appeared that any personal memories relating to his background before entering Foundation containment had been wiped from his mind. Discussions between medical, research, and containment personnel began about how to conduct tests on SCP-5692-29 with this information. After several weeks of discussions and meetings with Ethics Committee liaisons, the conclusion was made to give SCP-5692-29 a much more lenient containment schedule with the re-approval of scheduled free time with other sentient humanoid anomalies, but must have a containment specialist accompany them around the site during these times. Year three of their containment was a very important one as it was the moment that SCP-5692-29 was given a nickname by their containment specialist that had accompanied them during their free time, "Aladatu," which had caught on by other site staff and SCPs that heard it. During this year, SCP-5692-29 had been much more cooperative during encounters, assisting other SCPs with tasks, chatting, and generally being much more hospitable towards others. Some site staff still believed at the moment it was a ruse in an attempt to gain favor among staff and breach, but this was a common idea held by those who distrusted the SCPs during free time. With years four and five going by, and having them be trusted with light staff duties such as cleaning common areas, spills, and messes, as well as helping carry around heavy equipment for ETS personnel. SCP-5692-29 had begun to take off its facial covering during times of quiet or alone, spotted by cell cameras doing so and revealing its much more transfigured face. Medical personnel conducting psychological evaluations had asked about this behavior, and it was stated to be a way to breathe and feel unrestricted by the weight of the mask. It was also stated that long times without the mask also make it vision blurry, lightheaded, and unable to stand up straight without feeling dazed or confused. It was given the instruction only to take it off when requested to by site personnel, but it was also stated that it cannot stop it when it is by itself. With interactions remaining stable and the psychological and physical evaluations being stable, it was concluded that it was unneeded for its containment cell to have a clearance level higher than two and its testing access pulled down to clearance level 1. The integration Program had begun to go into effect following year four of containment. Its years five through seven of containment had it seen around medical personnel and the site's medical wing assisting doctors and visiting personnel with visits. A clearance level of two was granted to it so that it could perform these duties much more easily than without clearance. SCIPNET entries within the medical database were being slowly written by SCP-5692-29, and entries were being credited with assisting in documented procedures. During several visits between its containment cell and Site-322's medical wing, the site's general security had noticed its bulky stance and height; several comments were made towards SCP-5692-29 about being the next anomalous general security officer. It responded with being interested in medical, but it would take a lean towards general security. During year eight of its containment, it had requested firearms training and procedures under Security Captain Tone Leon's suggestion. Security Captain Tone Leon was questioned about this but had confirmed his suggestion for SCP-5692-29's training. The on-site ethics committee board allowed this training to occur under the supervision of Captain Tone Leon, with eight in approval, two in opposition, and one abstaining. After being told by the Ethics Committee lead of Site-322, Captain Tone Leon had begun to give basic firearms training slowly over the next few months. Years nine through ten were the years in which admittance to clearance level two was given to SCP-5692-29 under the discretion of medical leadership and the oversight of Captain Tone Leon. Scoring remarkably well during its performance inside Site-322's training area and kill house. With personnel being in agreement of SCP-5692-29 performance was upstanding among most approved working SCP's. Nearing the end of its tenth year in containment, Doctor Marley Mooney had suggested a combative medical role to available Ethics Committee liaisons. This suggestion was pushed to a meeting between Ethics Committee liaisons. Site Director Paul Lague, Doctor Anthony Coix, and Security Captain Tone Leon. With the discussions of its clearance level and previous containment breach attempt, it was a split decision for a combat medic role, with only the Site Director and Anthony Coix being the deciding votes. Much discussion on professionalism, actions, behavior, psychological and physical evaluations being put up, and favorable and unfavorable regards to SCP-5692-29. It was decided upon to allow SCP-5692-29 for a role of a combat medic but only if they are to move to a site that needs them, as Site-322 rarely ever has a need for one beyond an extreme containment breach scenario. This information was given to SCP-5692-29 after being called into the meeting and let in by LE.
Current Standing
With the current proposition of a combat medic role within the Foundation and the current state of Site-322's medical wing having a lack of need for them, SCP-5692-29 was given one month to list out a Foundation Site that he will be sent to under a combat medic role. SCP-5692 had stated that it would need a specialized loadout if it were to go through with this, and requested a SAI GRY SBR due to its much longer muzzle brake that had allowed for its much stockier grip to hold it properly. With its backup sidearm being an M1911, based on the ergonomics and size being much more preferable to him. This would need to be decided by the Site Medical Leadership if a specified equipment list was able to be provided. A list of all the sites able to provide such equipment and a need for combative medical personnel were given to SCP-5692-29, being sites 19, 54,65, 84, 103, and 228. Areas were considered to be a part of the transfer but were thrown out as the sites needed more medical personnel. SCP-5692-29 had asked a Site-322 Technical Expert to roll a number from one through two hundred and forty. It had rolled on seventy-one. Rounding down to the closest number of sixty-five. With the decision made, he made the request for transfer to Site-65 in Saskatchewan, Canada. He claimed that he made the choice based on a feeling that the cold would do him some good. But later the same technician was asked and gave the real reason. When questioned about this, he said he did leave it to chance and couldn't truly decide. Captain Tone Leon had said he would have made the same choice too if he were "Aladatu"
Addendum - Classification Clarification
During the early proceedings of Site-322's Operation in securing the unmarked facility, QRT members of Site-322 had initially called SCP-5692-29 a new number being SCP-12940 on SCIPNET and during actions relating to it. But after the fact, research and testing had found it to be a subsidiary instance of SCP-5629 purely by biological relation. Any mentions of their previous designation in documentation and Site-322's Integration program are to not use any designations other than SCP-5692-29 when referring to it in necessary material. Regarding SCP-5692-29's classification as a Euclid-class SCP, there are guidelines that all Site-322 Integration Program Personnel must follow, as well as their associated documentation. Different actions taken during their stay at Site-322, any training undertaken by personnel, clearance level granted, as well as physical abilities or thaumatological traits are all factors in object classification. The actions SCP-5692-29 took during their stay under the Integration program have caused such a classification. Any actions taken regarding SCP-5692-29 will fall under standard site personnel regulations as well as the Integration program's binding SCP-5692-29 agreement. Also included in this Addendum is an attached audio file of SCP-5692-29 giving a basic introduction with general statements about itself. This is to be used by on-site personnel for any changes that may occur to the subject's voice if further damage is discovered; please report to medical and ETS personnel, along with Area-179 Doctor Eric Trenton, if Site-322 medical personnel are unavailable to respond.
Audio Recording of SCP-5692-29 General Statements
Transcription of Audio Log.
"Is it recording?" "Yes?" "Alright, so I am SCP-5692-29. Presently, I am requesting a transfer to a different site under the Integration program of Site-322." "My stay under the Integration program has been for 6 years, with my total stay being 10 years." "Site-322 personnel have given me various medical and rifle and pistol training. Security Captain Tone Leon was my instructor, if you are curious." "Along with this, my anomalous traits seem to be mostly physical changes as well as a reliance on those dishes attached to the back of my head for hearing." "The hair on my body was identified to be some kind of analog to a polar bear, but they believe it's something else." "If they gotta take more samples, I'm not running out of it anytime soon." "My 'mask,' as they call it, seems to have been made for me and my bodily functions, for if I am without it for extended periods of time, my eyesight, head, and motor function slowly degrade." "They studied it for a while, and it seems to be made of another SCP, "SCP-1360?" but only for the outside layers." "Seems they couldn't get enough to make it entirely out of that stuff." "I apologize if I appear to be repeating myself; my first interaction beyond getting my food was a so-called 'containment breach attempt,' and during that time my mask got damaged, and the thing that transmits my voice through the mask and radio signal transmissions got damaged." "I don't blame him for it; try spending your first year of living memory trapped in a black metal box without trying to make a run for the door." "Oh, is this too long? Sorry, I'll shut it off now."
