Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
This was my second option, my first being an executive researcher. Applying for Medical Consultant would be a major upgrade for me, as i've been assisting and participating in the medical regiment for quite a while now. I wish to be a Medical Consultant to further my reach into helping those within the Medical Department as much as they need, either in the most menial or important tasks.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
My commitment to the Medical Job, especially Combat Medic, should be good for medical consultant. I really wish to make the medical department accessible for roleplay, either in outbreak roleplays or just straight up medical roleplay. I want to train those who wish to be apart of the medical department, and actually be someone who's of use to the foundation.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:

In Character Applicant:

Fracture Treatment.

When bringing in a patient with a fracture, they are to lay down on the X-ray machine to identify which limb is most fractured and how many limbs are inflicted with a fracture. Once identified, they are to be provided a temporary splint and painkillers for the leg fracture. These medicinal items can be found within the medical cabinet right of the X-ray machine and retrieve the items. Splints will be found in the drawer to the right labeled "Fracture Splints" and the painkillers will be found in the locked cabinet labeled "Medicine" and it will be a gray and white bottle labeled "Oral Paracetamol".

Medication:
Write a requirement prescription and label bottle with "Take Oral Daily" and 1/2 the medicine. Only 120mg should be taken each day. If pain worsens, patient is authorized to take two tablets.

Splint Application:
Unwrap splint from it's casing, and the right splints will be labeled with the Foundation logo. Once unwrapped, you are to unclip the splint's clip and wrap around the limb gently after identifying the fractured area. Once placed on the fractured area, gently tighten the splint's straps to give the splint some area to work with, wiggle the splint; If it wiggles loosely, apply more pressure and repeat. If the wiggle is tight, you are constricting the fractured area. If the wiggle is in between, leave it. Once the straps are tightened, buckle the clips and move the clips from the front of the limb to the back. The clips should be facing the behind of the patient.

Out of Character (In-Game):
Ask the person to step on the x-ray to identify the area of fracture (the limb on the screen will be highlighted red if fractured). Once the fracture is identified, you would use the !medic command to access the medical cabinet. Note; You must be near a medical cabinet to access the !medic command. Once accessed, you would select either the drug jars, which would be identified as either Calcium right leg, left leg, right arm, left arm. These are the fractured medications, you would have to pay for the jars and they would place in front of you. These normally don't instant heal the fractures.

For instant heal, you would select the small vials named as such, a beaker and an empty jar. Use your gravity gun and equip the vial before placing it onto or in the area of the beaker which would disappear. The beaker will have three named boxes, if one of these boxes are highlighted in green or white, that means the medicine is in it. Then, you would guide the beaker to the large empty jar, the jar will then fill but the beaker will empty into the jar. The name of the medicine will be highlighted above the jar, and the patient can Press E to equip the medicine jar which will heal their fracture.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
To work to identify medical issues in patients, to provide assistance to Medical Staff who wish for such, and train medical trainees once they have reached the requirements for their medical license.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Jack "Pickles" Ranger

Jack was born in El Paso Texas as an only child of two local Business Owners. Lucy and Devin Ranger. During his time in Texas, Jack was born during the drought of the late 1990's. His parents were poor minimum wage workers who did not expect to have Jack in any sort of way but loved him too much to be able to consider alternatives. Jack was a quiet baby, and from notes acclaimed by his parents; "Rarely ever cried or screamed, which was a blessing." Jack grew up as a regular child but seemed more academically ahead which motivated a lot of his peers during his time in school. Though, like his time as a baby, he was quiet and preferred to keep to himself. At the age of 13, Jack's father passed away in a work place accident within his mining company that was quickly covered up. Jack's mother was outraged and attempted to seek justice until an unexpected figure arrived. A man in a suit and tie knocked on the Ranger's family door the day Jack's mother was taking the local police department to federal court for the suspected cover-up. The man offered a deal to the woman for compensation. The deal was to work for the Organization that covered up her husband's death. The Foundation was intrigued by Lucy's past, an biology professor broke after mastering an education she thought would support her family. They offered her a position in the Foundation, giving free housing and security for both her and Jack. She was hesitant but fell into the snares of the Foundation as Sr. Researcher Nancy Brown whom later designated many anomalies in her field.

Jack was raised in a military base, and was supported for his brilliancy by the Foundation, but his mother continued to shield him and protect him from the same fate as her but Jack was interested for what they wished to continue in. After Jack reached 20, he left the military base to go into Biology and Chemical Weapon Research. After mastering, he would continue his teaching's before being contacted by the foundation to serve in the Research & Development Department of Site-65. Jack agreed and was moved to Pinewood, Ontario, Canada for his luxury stay at one of the most dangerous sites to work within the Foundation.

Jack quickly grew bored of the Research department and decided to use his Biology degree to use. He would quickly begin his career in the Medical Department of the Foundation and slowly grew the ranks and passed the tests to apply for Doctor. He was given his credentials and handed his Combat Medical Uniform to where he was tasked with assisting in Medical Escorts of Site Administration, and with little combat experience, was happy to accept.

The past few days have been difficult to log, and whenever I am on: I am required to put in activity for Ci. I always will be on whenever I have the option to, but I appreciate the neutrality!
