For how long have you played on CG SCP: Got on a few months ago, vtime 1d12h36m
Age: 15
In what country are you located?: USA
Time zone: CST
Character name(s): Samuel "Pynput" Rodriguez
Civilian name: Scott "Pynput" Wozniak
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?:
Yes.
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
Currently am an MTF E-11 SPC.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
One warning for micspam as I messed up my soundboard settings.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
Science has always been my main department and main focus on the server, and I believe is possibly the most important part of a good experience in SCP-RP. I am at the point where I feel comfortable taking a more involved role in the department, and know I will be able to help teach new researchers more effectively as an executive. I was planning to wait for more playtime, however after one of my presentations O5-2 recommended I apply for this position now, which gave me the confidence in my knowledge I needed to apply.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I have experience with high-clearance SCPs, writing many documents, and training new researchers. I have written and held lectures before, and often receive compliments from attendees. I have been recommended by high-ranking site members, and often receive good feedback from D-Class. I have done tests with other executives and also am a E-11 member, giving me a view into the MTF part of the foundation.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I have received three excellent rated document recently, but cannot find my other documents to check. An excellent document must stand out from most documents, and meet a few criteria including length (min 4 pages), grammar (few/no errors), and suggest a use for findings. It must also be descriptive, and prove RP was preformed. I believe most of, if not all of my documents meet these standards, but I do understand that excellent grades are supposed to stand out from the rest.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
Executive researchers teach and train new researchers, and provide guidance for the research department in general. They also grade documents, and perform <=Clearance lvl 4 tests. They are expected to give lectures and trainings often, and give feedback to other members of the research department. In general, they are a respected and generally supportive member of the department.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Rodriguez, a Brazilian who moved to America at a young age, was picked up by DARPA after it was discovered he was illegally manufacturing weapons in his home. He then worked there for 5 years before the foundation became aware he was experimenting with an energy weapon that used an anomalous object as a power source. This led to him being offered a position within the R&D team, where he had an unfortunate accident with a recontainment device, causing the loss of his arm. This led to him switching to the regular ScD, where he is today.
