Why are you applying for Security Captain?
As a previous captain of GSD, I am reapplying because of the value and love I have for GSD and It's members. Nothing makes me feel better than
helping new cadets who are unfamiliar with the GSD Handbook, CoE and CoC. I do believe that in the early mornings and late nights, I will also be able to fill in
these gaps where captains are not particularly active or are needed, situations such as a cadet needing to be job banned / GSD becoming out of order.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
I am confidently informed with the GSD Handbook and all procedures regarding GENSEC.
My leadership skills are developed well when I was a previous commissioned-officer and I am confident with my decision making skills.
I see myself as very flexible and adaptable to any new situations along with being very available for any day when a captain is needed.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?
Maintaining Order in D-Block
Ensuring that proper CoC / CoE are being maintained.
Dealing with Insubordinate GENSEC
Authorizing certain conditions when they are met and required.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in
Rhys Reed was born in Colorado, parents of country folk. His father had attended the military and their father before him. An inspiration that he took upon himself and was set to do. Rhys Reed was not unfamiliar to the anomalous, various "folk tales" of creatures roaming the countryside and mysterious men were spoken about. Of course, he never witnessed this himself. After his years of service, returning back to his home town. There would be sightings of a wolf-like creature roaming the fields. Rhys and his father decided to go hunting. With him and his father. They would be ambushed whilst making their way to the sighting area, his father was fatally injured by the SCP. Rhys, managed to get a good shot on the wolf and killing it nearly instantly. Reed called emergencies services to airlift his father out. After speaking with the sheriff and the incident that had occurred, an undercover SCP working for the local sheriff department had overheard and reported it. A few days pass as he was brought into questioning by SCP foundation, overlooking his previous military experience and the recent incident. He was asked about the SCP and more information regarding his past. Seeing him to be a good fit to work in the one of the current SCP Facilities. They gave him an chance to be trained for GENSEC position. He originally held off on it, until his father had passed in the hospital in which he took the position to further learn more about these SCPs and help the foundation in helping secure these anomalies.
