Yes. I have received warnings/bans in the past for toxicity and MRDM, however these were over a year ago when I did not take the server or roleplay as seriously as I do now. Since then, I’ve improved my behavior, understanding of server rules, and overall professionalism. I believe my recent activity reflects this improvement, and I am confident that those past mistakes no longer represent how I play or conduct myself.

Why are you applying for the Chief of Security?

I am applying for the Chief of Security position because the General Security Department is the department I have dedicated the most of my time to. I am aware how some may say I still do not have enough experience but I have been in the position for several good months now. I want to take a larger role in shaping its direction and effectiveness. As a Captain I would argue that I am constantly active around 95% of the time I am on the server, I am on the role. I have grown very attached to both the people in the department and the role we play in the maintenance of site security. Over time, I have naturally stepped into leadership responsibilities beyond my rank, whether that's organizing GSD personnel, assisting cadets and other subordinates or interfering and assisting during chaotic moments to help restore order. I have also made efforts to make GSD more open to cooperation with other departments within the Site. I have tried to offer myself as a gateway for other departments to work with us more to improve communication and create a symbiotic relationship I believe that is important for the foundation Critically, I want to help refine the GSD into not just a reactionary department but a proactive department that focuses on discipline, structure, and order. I deeply care about the reputation of this department and I want to be in a position where I can actively maintain and improve it. Therefore I believe this application is a “next step” where I can formalize these efforts and have a more long-term effect

What makes you suitable for Chief of Security?:

I believe I am suitable for the role of Chief of Security due to a combination of experience, consistency, loyalty, and demonstrated leadership. I have worked to create a reputation as a captain of one that likes to enforce order, discipline and effectiveness. I have tried to enforce this by my activity. I am highly active as captain so this helped me build a reputation within the community. People know me, I am a Captain, hence people know what to expect from me; structure, fairness, and discipline. I take the role seriously and I try to set a standard through my behavior rather than just enforcing it. I take in the ideas of others and I evaluate. I am pragmatic in action and calm under pressure which are all qualities I believe are required for this position. I have also worked on patience as many people have noted I can be quick to lash out hence why I have taken a more holistic and neutral approach when I am disgruntled. I believe this is also critical in the position; being patient. Additionally as I mentioned before I have tried to improve GSD rather than maintain its level. I have pushed for better coordination with other departments, stepped in to lead when needed and tried to implement some sort of change to better the department. Additionally I have grown significantly since my past mistakes. For example when I first got denied as a captain on the ground of impatience and anger I went out and became a more calm and understanding person. I believe being flexible and able to learn is another important feature for a Chief. In general, growth is something I think is important for a leadership role, which I have demonstrated.

What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Security in RP?:

The responsibility of the Chief of Security is to oversee the entirety of the GSD operations and ensure that the department functions efficiently, professionally, and in line with the foundation standards. This includes managing personnel and operations, enforcing discipline and maintaining order within the facility at all times. A key responsibility is leadership, setting expectations for behavior, performance, and rp quality. The chief ensures that everyone is properly trained, order is implemented, hierarchy is respected, and all situations involving the GSD are handled correctly. They are also responsible for coordinating effective and prompt responses for breaches, raids, and other internal threats. Another major responsibility that I personally would be looking forward to would be maintaining and creating interdepartmental relations. The chief acts as a bridge to connect other departments such as the medical department, ISD and even RSD. This involves facilitating and maintaining communication, resolving conflicts, joint operations, and ensuring that GSD is seen as cooperative and not obstructive. Strong collaboration creates the intended symbiosis between the departments. Finally the chief is responsible for maintaining the reputation of the GSD at all times. In his behavior and enforcing compliance of subordinates. The chief is essentially and literally the representative for the entire department. A strong chef does not just respond and pray it works, he ensures others around him grow so when the danger comes it is guaranteed to be resolved by the general security department

Please give some lore about your Chief of Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Name: Roman Lookma
Current Position: Chief of Security (General Security Department)
Clearance Level 4
Status: Active

Summation:

Roman Lookma is noted within the foundation records as being one of the youngest individuals to ever achieve the rank of Captain within the department. His early promotion was the result of exceptional activity, situational awareness and a natural ability to command and assume control during high pressure events.

However early evaluations have exemplified a critical weakness in the individual; impatience

Internal reviews from his early Captaincy and prior to it describe Lookma as effective but volatile under prolonged stress. The captain has a tendency to prioritize immediate results over measured ones. Sometimes he is known to burst into anger. Friction between subordinates and departments are an unwanted side effect as a result. Unnecessary escalation was also noted

Development Record:

Rather than stagnate, the Captain actively sought help, he worked to correct. Attending multiple psychological evaluations speaking to superiors and working to control and maintain emotion while on the job. Over the several months he shifted his approach, moving away from impulse to structure. He began coordinating more closely with other departments tried to step up to internal operations and began trying to set his work ethic as an example for others to follow

Reports began to change

Where he was once described as impatient, he is now constantly characterized as; Calm, Deliberate, Structured, and Expecting. Most notably, Roman has developed a reputation for enforcing discipline and order without unnecessary escalation, ensuring that situations are handled efficiently rather than dis-orderly. When Asked what caused him to change, he responded; “ change is a victory, and to be victorious one must first lose, hence why we need death to reach the heavens”.

Current Role:

As Chief of Security Roman now oversees cross-departmental operations, acting as a central command figure during major site events including; large-scale containment breaches, CI raids, Internal investigations and joint operations requiring the aid of GSD. His leadership can be simplified in one core principle;

Security is not reactionary; It is a structured preparation

Under his command, GSD has shifted to be a more exemplary and proactive model within the Site focusing on preparation, hierarchy, order, and discipline. When the chief gets on, everyone is in position, everybody knows what to do, the pressure to perform is there but its not aggressive but rather profoundly subtle. A pressure that expects but also teaches, criticizes but also teaches

Behavioral Assessment

The Chief and the Captain are different people today, Roman is now regarded as a stabilizing force within the General Security Department. His presence during high risk situations often results in faster, efficient, and powerful coordination between departments and internally while strict, he is just and predictable, qualities that not only improve compliance within the subordinates but also heighten morale. His earlier impatience is considered resolved through demonstrated growth as a person, and as personnel and is now viewed as a contributing factor to his understand of command responsibility

Closing Remarks

Roman Lookma represents a rare case of rapid advancement followed by meaningful and profound self-adjudgment and self-correction. His evolution from a young and impatient Captain into a disciplined Chief of Security is considered a key factor in the current operational stability of the General Security Department

-Active Strikes
-Not Sr captain
-Though your qualifications section is good if you want to demonstrate why you are a good CAPTAIN, I do not see anywhere why you would make a good chief of security

I do not personally know you, so I cannot comment on anything further than your application, and you have been a member of the department for a long time. I would seriously suggest editing or adjusting your application to focus on the improvements and policies you would implement with examples, to make up for the possible negative parts of your application. I do love to see members of GSD wanting a chance (especially right now), but I think with the major leadership change, we need people who have ideas in mind.

. A strong chef does not just respond and pray it works,
also a strong chef follows the recipe and puts the food in the oven at 450f for 30 minutes, I think you mean chief
