Have you received any kicks/bans/warnings? and why?:
Yes. I have received warnings/bans in the past for toxicity and MRDM, however these were over a year ago when I did not take the server or roleplay as seriously as I do now. Since then, I’ve improved my behavior, understanding of server rules, and overall professionalism. I believe my recent activity reflects this improvement, and I am confident that those past mistakes no longer represent how I play or conduct myself.
Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I am applying for the role of medical consultant to further my role-play experience within the department. I also want to expand my role-play into serious and leadership oriented gameplay. I believe that this position would allow me to do so, furthermore through my experience in vast combative roles I believe I have gained a special appreciation for medics and medicine I did not know I had. I want to also begin perhaps silently and slowly transitioning into a more non-combative role as I am mainly known as the GSD Captain.I believe this role can help me improve my role-play within the server and help me meet my goal of transitioning from a combative to a noncombative person.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I believe I am suitable for the medical consultant role because of my vast experience in many departments and because of my intimate knowledge of how medicine works in real life and within the game. I believe that my experience in a variety of roles such as Nu7 medic and combat medic have allowed me to get closer with medicine in general. I have learned how medicine works, procedure, and ethics however I believe my time as a GSD captain is also critical as it has taught me patience, communication, leadership and teamwork. These qualities I believe are essential and I think I have demonstrated them not only in my time as Sr.Doctor completing my progress tracker but in all those roles mentioned above in my whitelists. I also believe that my knowledge of medicine could help improve not only my RP but it can elevate the RP of others because they can actually feel like they are talking to healthcare professionals, this in turn makes me appreciate my RP. It can make me and the department seem knowledgeable and complex qualities I enjoy. I also want to mention that my previous warnings and bans have had a significant impact on my character which is reflected on my roleplay. My last warning was a year ago in April 2025 when I did not take the server seriously. Since then, I have become more active and professional when dealing with situations. I have tried to distance myself from the “old” me as much as I could to not only improve the roleplaying for others but as well as my own
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
One reasonable medical procedure is the removal of molars and other teeth due to cavities or other causes in D-Class. One case perhaps may be that a d-class has reported that he has severe toothaches and as it turns out when he gets booked in by the medical department and screened, it is found,. he has poor oral hygiene and plaque formation on his teeth and gums and as a result he has begun having toothaches. But because this poor hygiene is chronic this has actually infiltrated the gums of the patient and is nearing the root leading the d-class to have a dental procedure to disinfect his mouth and remove the rotten tooth. The doctors, who are specialized in dentistry and oral procedures, would come in and disinfect all tools and themselves and begin working on the patients mouth using dental tools such as; the dental sickle, toothbrush, electric wash, mouth tube, fluoride and other instruments to clear plaque formation. After the plaque is removed the tooth would have to be removed, as a result the doctors would prep general anesthetic to numb the patient so the patient does not feel pain and once that happens, incisions around the tooth are made to loosen it up and it is removed. Then, disinfection, fluoride and other chemical cleaning agents are introduced to the site to clear the site of any remaining bacteria and to prevent future infection. The patient is then taken into a post-operation center to be monitored for possible after procedural complications, where vitals are taken. If all is normal within a few hours the d-class is returned to block feeling relieved now that his pain is gone. The tooth is dumped into a biohazard bin and the tools are disinfected, then all procedure personnel wash out and thus the procedure is complete.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
One key responsibility of the medical consultant is the oversight of the medical department in the absence of the director of medicine. When the Director of Medicine is not on, the medical consultant oversees operations unless of course overridden by superiors. The medical consultant also has a responsibility for training newer medical staff such as trainees and handing out licenses to those who pass, they also have a responsibility to teach and help onboarded newer staff by for example, answering any questions or concerns they may have. The medical consultant also may host combat medic tryouts to further increase the combative roster within the medical department. They also have a responsibility to maintain exemplary leadership, they are to be what other members of the department strive to be, they also need to be professional, calm, and pragmatic in all decisions made, they need to lead by example. The medical consultant is also responsible for high level communication and coordination within the department for operations but also for medical crises that affect multiple departments. They must coordinate an effective response cross-departmentally. They should act as trusted figures and also create engaging and factual RP scenarios to further bolster RP within the server.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Dr. Roman Lookma started like any other doctor within the Foundation, as a medical trainee. After graduating from Harvard University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Neuroscience he was employed by the foundation because of his exceptional medical acumen. His early years were not loud as he tried to remain silent and learn. His early years are best remembered by his efforts to remain disciplined and professional and by his early attempts to better patient care by introducing his own triage system to his own patients. These qualities earned him the respect of his seniors. The early iterations of the now Consultant were seeds of innovative healthcare that were waiting to blossom. As time passed Dr. Roman began climbing the ranks of the medical department eventually reaching the position of Senior Doctor. This is where his reputation would be created. During his time as Senior Doctor, Roman began mentoring newer personnel, even lecturing an incoming class of trainees, answering questions for those who needed help. He became widely known for his dedication and moral-boosting presence within the department. This is also the time where he further advanced his learning, he began to shadow consultants and assist in surgeries to further improve his standing within the department. This is where he got to learn critical leadership skills such as medical coordination and high-pressure decision making. This is where he got inspired by those above him. The consultants he shadowed and looked up to create a new standard of medicine he vowed to uphold. Roman Lookma became a perfectionist, a fatal flaw but beneficial still. He began upholding and increasing standards of healthcare in all aspects all the way from sanitation to disposal. The Senior Doctor is remembered for his unwavering need for perfection in procedure and standard.
It's 4 in the morning, all is quiet but then the alarm rings, a massive containment breach leaving multiple personnel with neurological symptoms that are defined as psychotic catatonia and schizophrenia. Consultant Roman begins meeting with other senior level personnel and begins devising a plan to help contain and relieve the transmission and effect of this neurological hazard. Consultant Roman devises a plan to split up the medical department to have 2 main goals: Isolation/Quarantine and Prevention and Decontamination. Consultant Roman personally oversees both aspects of the response but begins coordinating joint efforts in both. Those who have neurological symptoms are quickly isolated and studied while those who are healthy are given proper equipment to defend themselves from any potential hazards. Those that experience neurological symptoms are examined by Consultant Roman whose specialization in neuroscience and foundation knowledge deems this as a possible cognitohazard. Consultant Roman goes on communication channels to announce that the reason for this mass neurological transmission is a cognitive hazard alerting all personnel before any more are affected. Consultant Roman has now finished the first goal of identification and prevention. To relieve those affected, MRIs are conducted to reveal a severe increase of dopamine transporters causing a severe lack of dopamine. Realizing this he begins ordering transport blockers as a way to mitigate these symptoms and as it turns out this helps all personnel affected recover. The Consultant has stopped the crisis within 23 minutes and goes back to work as if nothing happened
