Why are you applying for Site Director?
I am applying for Site director because I believe that the site needs a strong active influence in order to keep all of the departments and their heads running smoothy and cooperating. I have been here for almost 2 years now and have seen my fair share of leadership change, and seen the outcomes of good and bad leadership. I strive to be a leader that others can look up to, take as an example, and aim to be like. I have come to learn how to resolve many conflicts in my time as Site Advisor and I believe that I can use all of the skills I have gained in my almost one year in Site Administration to further the goals of each department, and the site as a whole.
What makes you suitable for Site Director over Site Advisor?:
I have spent a considerable amount of time in Site Administration. While others have indeed been here longer than I, I have spent my time with the people of the site. Many know who I am, as I have done my best to make myself indispensable to the staff. no matter their job or clearance. I have been on the front lines, so to speak, and have a good understanding of the people and their needs and wants. As Director, I will have better control in assisting them in the best possible ways for each department.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
In RP, Site Administration is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the site. This includes but is not limited to, hearing the questions and concerns of the departments, helping out each department with tasks and projects that are being set up or currently ongoing, assist in disciplinary actions when applicable, authorize the use of AA during codes, meet with GOIs in the area of Pinewood to discuss relations, assist departments with policies and procedures, over see daily operations in each department to ensure they are compliant with the COC and COE, assist Foundation Command when necessary, ect.
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Samantha was put on death row for killing six people, that being her lover, their lover, and the parents of both her lover and their lover. All six knew of the trist and that Samantha was with one of the two in the pair, but all agreed to keep it a secret and allow Samantha to keep dating their lover without her ever knowing. Upon finding out, when she was invited to a dinner party with all six other individuals in attendance, she found herself at a loss and had a mental break from the shock and stress of finding out that ten years of her life had been wasted on a person who never had any intentions on making a life with her.
On death row, Sam was well behaved and likable, and eventually was approached with a deal she could not pass up. She was given the offer to work towards her freedom while working with scientists. It was a deal too good to be true, but she was on death row already, so she took it. She was brought to an unknown location and placed with other inmates, in a facility she later found out was called the SCP foundation. Here, during the various tests that were run, she came to discover the existence of monsters, and what the foundation actually did.
Sam was good at her job, able to survive the different horrors, and continuing to be well behaved and likable, Sam was eventually approached by a Site Administrator who offered another deal. This time, the deal was more believable. She would get a new identity and be given a job as a member of the foundation itself. After signing the contract, it was stated that she was killed during an experiment and given a new name and cover story. She was trained and put into General Security, where she would be dealing with the inmates that she had once lived side by side with.
She rose through the ranks quickly, considering a job as a captain when she was instead approached by members of the MTF unit Nu-7. She was offered a place among their ranks, and took it, a better opportunity as far as she could see. From there, she rose through the ranks again, getting to know more and more people in the higher positions of power within the facility, even being accepted into various sub regiments in and outside of her main regiment. Now fully entrenched in the facility staff, very few know of her beginnings because of her cover identity.
Once Samantha became a Site Advisor, she began doing some digging into what happened with the Site Manager who had recruited her in the first place, and what had happened to the contract that she had signed. However, she was unable to find the contract, and the foundation logs stated that the manager had been killed. Having nothing else to return to, she threw herself into her work as A Site Advisor, determined to keep her true identity secret, and resigned to let it die with the manager.
Since she became a Site Advisor, she’s had to deal with quite a few other anomalous entities.She was taken by some kind of forest spirit to a grove where it granted her a wish, There she found out that the manager she had given up on finding, had also once visited there and had been searching for his brother, though the entity was saddened to hear that the manager had passed.
Another instance was having to assist Surface Operations with a powerful Reality Bender that was attempting to destroy all of Pinewood. Though she was not on the front lines, she managed to keep a few members of SOP alive. The returned and made a report of the incident, which she handed over to Foundation Command.
The last notable incident was during a hostage negotiation training. She was compelled to return to her office, at which time she was sent through a strange door into an office. Inside of the office she found a document with Sarcik writing on it, which detailed a dormant volcano beneath Pinewood plains that was holding some kind of entity. In the document, it was stated that the creature must never be awoken, but there was a group out there that was attempting to do so. Upon being returned to the sire, she made a report, and delivered it to Foundation Command.
