For how long have you played on CG SCP: 14 days Vtime total
Age: 20
In what country are you located?: Canada
Time zone: MST
Character name(s): Sanders
Civilian name: Sam Flanders
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP US
Do you have a mic?:
-Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-ISD Investigator.
-MTF Nu-7.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-No
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
-I wish to do more to assist other ISD Agents, Investigators and Site 65 personnel in general with maintaining order around the site, and offer my further assistance during emergencies where personnel of a higher clearance are often needed to close off areas, or permit combatives access to closed areas to help combat breaches. I believe i can also do well in assisting newer members of the department, and help with improving the opinions other personnel have of the ISD
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
-I am around the site quite often, and always help out when and where i am needed, providing assistance to the newer site 65 personnel with helping to understand the COE and COC and they may not be fully aware of what they can, and cannot do. When arresting personnel, or considering arresting them, i always consider how severe the offense was, and whether they may have reasonably made a simple mistake, or perhaps were not aware of a certain regulation. In cases such as these i always find it better to inform the individual so that in the future they do not repeat the same mistake, while also not being too harsh on them, and impacting their view on ISD for the future.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
-Someone who doesn’t just sit around, only looking for minor infractions to fault and arrest people for, but rather someone who focuses on actually educating people properly, such as explaining to them why certain rules are in place and helping to understand them, not simply looking for a quick arrest to get rid of them. An inspector should always make efforts to improve departmental relations with others, and help to improve their opinions of the ISD as a whole to the best of their ability. Inspectors should be well versed on the code of conduct and code of ethics, and should spend a lot of their time helping out their fellow ISD personnel with their own understandings of the FLC as a whole. Lastly, an ideal inspector sets a good example for their colleagues, and site personnel.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
-I have written mostly simple documents, a few arrest reports, an interview document and sampling requests for research primarily, though i am not against writing larger documents i have not done them much outside of the above. A quality document has good punctuation, and large amounts of detail without cluttering it and rendering it unreadable. Essentially, documents should contain all relevant information, and should have apt descriptions without dragging on too much.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
-The primary responsibilities of an inspector are as follows:
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
-I find myself to be rather forgiving when necessary, i don't like arresting people for 15 minutes due to minor infractions, and believe it should only be done for people who are repeat offenders, and generally have proven themselves to be deserving of it. I’ve already done what i can to help out my fellow investigators, agents and operatives whenever they have questions about arrests, charges etc, and will keep doing so of my own volition as its simply nice to do.
Like everyone sometimes i make mistakes, but i dont mind owning up to them, and dont let it keep me down or stop me from doing what is needed, and while i dont have experience leading here at Site 65, i have held similar such positions in the past, and feel i am up to performing those duties once again.
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in: Sanders used to work as a CSIS Agent for a large portion of his adult life, he handled mostly cases of terrorists, and foreign agents trying to sow unrest within the province of Alberta where he was stationed for most of his career. Many cases were rather simple, cut and dry, but they had the occasional incidents that really made him work his brain in order to wrap up. One case really stood out to him however, as it was nothing like the typical kind of case he’d work on.
Things started small, a body was found deep in the woods near the North Saskatchewan river, though with it missing most of its meat, and a few limbs. It would be assumed to be a freak attack by some likely rabid animal, and it only came to Sanders’s attention when the bodies started appearing almost daily, usually along the river, or at least within a few kilometres of it.
Again, it really seemed like it was some sort of animal, but the frequency of the attacks led him and the local authorities to believe something worse was going on. Of course, when word eventually made way to his office, he wasn’t the only party who decided to investigate. His office was only about an hour and a half away from the area that the attacks occurred, so by the time he reached the location the local police were still the only ones on scene, though rumours of the Canadian armed forces having been notified reached his ears.
He chose to assist in the investigation, and gather as much information as he could to provide to them, and make the military’s job easier. Fish and wildlife officers had taken the liberty of setting up trail cams already, though the primary concern on his mind beyond the obvious danger, was whoever might be responsible for bringing the creature there.
They waited for hours, checking trail cameras, utilizing drones overhead and setting up motion sensing equipment near hiking trails in the hopes of tracking it down, and soon enough they got their wish. One of their drones picked up movement in the trees just beyond where they set up a temporary command centre, and only moments later a tall humanoid, grossly resembling a bipedal and vicious deer would lumber forth from the trees. Blood was still dripping from its teeth, and when it took another step towards them neither sanders nor any of the other personnel witnessing this hesitated to draw their weapons and fire. Naturally this angered the beast immensely, and it charged towards the nearest of the officers, mortally wounding him in seconds, leaving him to bleed out on the ground as it turned his attention to sanders.
He doesn’t stop firing until his magazine runs dry, the beast was clearly being affected by the gunfire, yet it didn’t seem to care or slow down even slightly. He began to run, as fast and as far as his legs would take him in the other direction, He’d lead the beast away from the other officers nearby and towards a main road, maybe it would stop following him, or maybe he could at least get help in a much more open area.
He’d managed to run a good ways, the camp they had set up no longer in sight, yet the deer like monster refused to give up, and was gaining on him and quick, his breath was beginning to shorten and his legs begging to stop. As he turns his head to look ahead of him once again, he’d notice flashlights in the trees, then shouting, until finally he’d dive under the first bit of cover he saw - an overturned tree. Seconds later he heard shots ripple out from the trees, the sound of over a dozen automatic rifles opening fire, followed by the immediate pained growl from the monster that had been chasing him.
Even to the last second it never stopped fighting, but at last it collapses but a few feet from where he had ducked under, and after a few moments he’d come out from beneath the tree. What followed next was him being detained by the Canadian armed forces, who proceeded to question him on exactly what had happened, who was with him, etc.
They set out to round up the local police, and wildlife officers, while someone else, not dressed in the same attire came to speak to him. They offered him a simple proposal, come work for their organization instead, and put himself to good use elsewhere, or continue working his current job, and pretend this never happened. The pay was quite good, and the benefits even better than what he already had, so with some careful consideration, he accepted their offer, and left alongside the military personnel who had by that point extracted the monstrous deer skull, and locked it inside of a steel case.

-The primary responsibilities of an inspector are as follows:
- Training, and recruiting new Agents and Operatives
- Assisting existing Agents and Operatives with their duties, and observing them as candidates to become investigators when eligible
- Making arrests, upholding order, and enforcing the Foundation Legal Codex
- Investigating CL4 personnel, and carrying out arrests on them when necessary for FLC Violations
- Disciplining Agents, Operatives, and Investigators whenever they break the FLC themselves, or generally act unbecoming of their positions.
- Performing other duties of a CL4 card holder, such as opening/closing blast doors, Switching Tesla gates, or even turning the lights back on if something happens to them.
