What makes you suitable for SCP-096?
I have strong roleplay discipline. I get that 096 is mostly passive. It only reacts when someone sees its face. It doesn’t just attack randomly. That kind of self-control is necessary and it is really important. I stick to server rules like, only targeting valid viewers, and do not using meta knowledge (like knowing where players are). Since 096 is incredibly powerful, I will avoid powergaming. I won’t just force interactions, I will keep things fair for everyone else. I will head straight for my targets and I won't get sidetracked. I will stop once all targets are taken care of. I will portray 096 as distressed, and not “evil”. I understand that it is quiet and withdrawn when calm, and explosive only when provoked.
What is the usual behaviour of SCP-096 when pacified?
When SCP-096 is calmed down, its behavior shifts dramatically from its usual violent tendencies. It becomes non-aggressive and mostly unresponsive to those around it. It often sits, stands, or leans against a wall, not doing much at all. It might softly whimper, cry, or cover its face, indicating ongoing anxiety or discomfort. It tries to keep its face hidden as much as possible, even without any direct stimuli. It won’t attack unless someone sees its face whether directly or through a photo or video.
When breached, where is SCP-096 allowed to go?
Can SCP-096 beeline straight to D-Block?
When SCP-096 breaks free, it doesn’t follow the usual “zones” like D-Block, Heavy Containment, or the Surface. Instead, it’s driven by a single focus: Target-Driven Behavior. SCP-096 will head straight for anyone who has caught a glimpse of its face. It takes the most direct route possible to reach that target. It disregards security measures, locked doors, or the layout of the facility; it will smash through anything that stands in its way. So, can it make its way to D-Block?Absolutely, but only if there’s a reason for it to do so. If someone in D-Block has seen its face, whether directly or through an image, SCP-096 will charge right over. However, if no one in D-Block has laid eyes on its face, it won’t have any reason to go there and usually won’t.
How is SCP-096 re-contained?
Please describe all steps of the process:
Staff must avoid making any direct eye contact with SCP-096. Mobile Task Force units should gather and prepare all the necessary containment equipment. Remain on standby until SCP-096 calms down and exits its rage state. Once it’s pacified, approach with caution, making sure its face stays out of sight. Place a containment cover over its head, like a bucket. Gently lead SCP-096 back to its designated containment chamber. Secure the chamber and confirm that full containment has been successfully restored.
