Why are you applying for Security Captain?
-I am applying for Security Captain because I love the department, and I want to be part of the journey once more. I have had the pleasure of working alongside the best leadership that I am lucky to see return to their rightful positions. I remember when GSD was just glorified prison guards, we sat in d block and did nothing. I saw the transition to what GSD is today: General Security, not d block mall cops. It is because of our increasing standards that have been set as to why we are now trusted to patrol around and respond to codes other than 2, and I am ready to prove my dedication and willingness to uphold these standards as I once did in the past as a captain.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
-I've been active and committed to the department for the last month, relearning the new protocols and enforcing them whilst on Sgt, ensuring d block is secured and ordering my subordinates according to the situation at hand. I've proven I can complete my weekly activity duties as of late, and am ready to prove again. I want nothing more than to hand out licenses to those who truly deserve it, even if I have already fulfilled my requirements for the week, I am willing to give tryouts (especially Sgt tryouts since we need more) upon request. As a captain, I plan to continue what i've done as a Sgt, ensuring d block is secured, handing out work permits, but instead of relaying relevant disciplinary information to Cpt+, I intend to do it myself and take the responsibility myself.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
-The most important responsibility a GSD Captain has, is setting the standard; Being an example of how to act whilst on GSD is a vital component to the role. The captain is who every new cadet turns to when they need help, and don't understand who is in charge of them, the captain is the one who sits at AA and helps hand out weapons during a breach instead of fighting the breach like he desperately wants to, the captain is the one who sacrifices his time, ensuring others are guided and correctly briefed on their job, and when all the avenues have failed, when the sgt's don't know what to order, the cadets are riled up with no way to expel that built up excitement, the captain realigns the objective, reminds everyone of their responsibility, and clarifies what the task is at hand when chaos has taken over and hope is gone. Sorry I got too prideful about that, anyway, they host tryouts for Sgt whitelist, Heavy Weapons License, Riot License, since they're CL 4 they have the responsibility of authorizing AA when no other appropriate personnel is available, opening AA, utilizing bulkheads when necessary, giving facility announcements that give relevant information that may not be seen in comms, they look out for CL 4 information that has been breached in lower clearance comms or in person from lower clearance level personnel, they discipline GSD personnel when needed which includes but is not limited to: PT, Calling ISD to arrest them, taking away licenses, job banning and logging the offense, etc.

"Terrible, I don't belong there, never have, and i'm tired of pretending like I do. My IA days are gone, IA is gone, my former colleagues have all either moved on, died, or turned their backs to me. I'm done with the bullshit! No more investigating gensec, no more chasing the same tech expert who'll just get away 10 minutes later, I'M DONE!"
Sr Doctor Sage: "Yeah, I can see how that would be diminishing. That's sad, losing your friends like that. Well, if you don't want to be ISD anymore, what job do you think they'll reassign you?"
"Gensec, no doubt. I've offered to take up arms many times in the past and they've permitted me this privilege of switching departments. I have friends in GSD, and leaders I look up to. I'm hoping they'll allow me to come back as a response unit and I can become Sergeant"
