What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
There is a multitude of things that I could bring to the GOC if I am accepted, first of all being experience. Even though I might not be high rank I have been in regiments for a long time and know how things work, as well as combat experience against both site SCPs (E-11) Surface SCPs (Being called to help with early 8854 as E-11, CI) and human on human combat experience both outdoors and indoors as CI. I also have great RP experience as I have played several hours as an executive, and was in Site Administration commonly meeting with the GOC having passive RP, which i believe the goc CO+ team has seen my capabilities to do rp like this whenever I don't crash. Being trusted with the site admin position, even though i got removed for other reasons, I showed that I was capable at all kinds of RP, ranging from research, to administrative RP.
All in all, this shows my:
- Human-SCP combat experience (E-11)
- Human-Surface SCP combat experience (CI/Intel)
- Human-Human combat experience indoors and outdoors (CI)
- Extensive RP experience as well as keeping order in large groups of people (Research, and site admin)
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: I want to join the global occult coalition for, again, multiple reasons. These reasons are:
- From what i've heard, GOC will be focused on both RP and combat, which I have experience and fun doing both.
- My favorite group in the SCP is the GOC.
The GOC has lots of potential for RP and combat that I'd love to partake in and my experience could help with that. I have also been extremely excited for the chance to join the GOC since rumors began spreading of it being included in the update. My interactions with the GOC as site administration have been great rp experiences, as well as overall interactions with them on OC as site admin.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The GOC was founded to simply protect humanity from the anomalous, just like the Foundation. However, the GOC has a different belief. The SCP foundation believes in containing, protecting, and researching anomalies, dangerous or not, while the GOC believes in the destruction of potentially dangerous anomalies by using other anomalies in some cases. The GOC protects humanity by using the fivefold mission, which is:
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS
The PHYSICS division is the GOC's military division, like the MTFs within the Foundation. Their jobs are to investigate, observe, contain and destroy anomalies. The PHYSICS team is two parts, one being the Assessment Teams who gather information about the threat entities/anomalies and observe them, and create plans to destroy the threat entities, and the Strike Teams execute the plans with military equipment.
For example: PHYSICS Assessment Teams identify a type green and setup a plan to kill it once it turns hostile. As predicted the type green starts using its powers selfishly and disrupts normalcy and is a threat, so Strike Teams execute the plan to quickly neutralize the type green.
PSYCHE
The PSYCHE division handles diplomatic relations with other paranormal groups and powers like the SCP Foundation, UIU, etc, attempting to keep peace and set boundries.
The Ambassadors maintain diplomatic relations with non-hostile occult and paranormal powers.
The Special Observers are agents tasked with observing scientific, archeological, and other investigations for possible emergent parathreats.
For example: PSYCHE team and SCP Foundation are attempting to acquire the same highly dangerous anomaly. Should they conflict in attempting to capture it, it might result in unneeded violence. A team from the PSYCHE division are sent to negotiate a joint operation to contain/neutralize the anomaly without violence. Negotiations are successfully led by an Ambassador.
PTOLEMY
This division mainly focuses in supporting other divisions to do things such as distributing food and weapons, or researchers that do things such as develop new weapons and research anomalies.
For example: PTOLEMY R&D team create a new weapon specifically to neutralize a threat entity. The weapon is successful.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?: The Fivefold mission which was described earlier, ensuring the Survival of humanity, the Concealment of the paranormal, the Protection of civilians, the Destruction of threat entities, and the Education about the paranormal.
The goals of the GOC are the same reason they were founded.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
While the Second World War was happening, a secret war under the veil was happening called the 'Seventh Occult War'. The participants in the war were the Allied Occult Initiative, the GOC's predecessor, like the American Secure Containment Initiative was the Foundation's predecessor, against the IJAMEA (Imperial Japanese Anomalous Matters Examination Agency) and various Nazi occult groups.
The Nazi's occult division was trying to complete the Rite of Solomon to start a GR-Class Hostile Demiurge Event and give certain people of their choosing anomalous powers by thaumaturgy. The Allied Occult Initiative goes to war with the group to put and end to the rituals and destroy them. The AOI managed to stop the rite of solomon and destroy the group.
The occult wars are wars where the anomalous are used in or even lead the war.
The Seventh Occult War is, essentially, WWII but under the veil with anomalies being used by governments to fight.

The GOC is the most realistic group in the SCP universe other than the Foundation, MCD, and governmental anomalous agencies. The GOC is also the most hated group in the anomalous community due to how they approach anomalies. The GOC has depth because of how you could make arguments about why they are right or wrong.
You could say they're right in destroying most anomalies because we don't understand them and they could be a threat we dont know about yet.
You could say they are wrong because destroying anomalies could cause a worse effect.
Or you could say they are wrong because of the concealment mission leaves the civilian populous (people being actually protected) unknowing in how to protect themselves from anomalies until it's too late.
Not many groups invoke a thought process like this, since MCD is just rich person anomaly auction club, manna charitable is just anomalous charity group. Neither of these groups for example make a special questioning feeling if what is being doing is the right choice like the GOC.
