- I am applying for site advisor as I want to keep climbing the corporate ladder. Or cl4 ladder I guess. Either way I am applying because after so long on site I yearn for more responsibility. While I won't deny my current whitelists are roles that some people would call important after some time I want more to do policy and responsibility wise. Under most circumstances I would go for a DPT Director position however my chosen path (Ethics) does not provide that opportunity and instead I would have to go for a cl5 for any upward momentum. I don't feel at this moment I hold the knowledge or responsibility to reach that height. I do feel my time as multiple JR cl4s in a range of departments uniquely sets me as with the knowledge to reach for SA. I want to impact site policy as I have seen others before me do and I think a path into SA sets me to be able to do that in a controlled manner which will give me knowledgeable peers to lean on and enough freedom to make mistakes but not mess up the site royally.
- I believe there are 2 qualities that make me good for Sita Admin. The first is time spent talking to the general site. This is a range from the SR CL5 personnel to the dclass I historically use as assistants. The ability to form a wide range of connections I think sets me available to talk openly about policy and issues people want fixed. I believe this ability to communicate sets me above others as SA needs to be able to speak to the site they are admining.
- Secondly I want to point to my commitment to my roles. I believe my time within roles sets me ahead as a lot of what I perceive to be site admin work is time consuming. Within my past departments I have stayed for months and months to push it to what I hope to be its best. I think this ability to commit and stick with a task or project will allow me if I am SA to work with other committed people to push effective policies and improve the site as a whole.
- Authing work permits
Giving keycards to those who may have lost them
Overseeing regiments and departments
Choosing new MTF commanders and DPT leads
GOI relation management
Speaking to CL5s about changing policies they control
Conducting the CL4 meeting
Escalating issues from cl4 issues to ethics/05 when needed
Testing authorization when DOR is not enough
