Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
- I am applying for site advisor as I want to encourage more long term project type RP and from what I have seen SA is the best way to encourage that type of RP. I want my term as an SA while over a department to be a full month of a project being dedicated to and worked on by as many people as I can draw in. This would mean working with department leaders to encourage RP but also using my ability to encourage CL2 and CL3s to work forward with monetary goals to do the RP. As odd as I see it for people to need a reason to RP, if I can set the RP out for them and reward them for it I think departments would be in a better place.
I also want to gain more responsibility for IC and OOC. This would be the oversight I spoke of above along with the other fun benefits of being SA. But furthermore I also yearn for an expanse of responsibility. As it stands I have been an ECA for 6 months and the loop has gotten a little stale so I want to branch out to gain the responsibility of a SRcl4. I think with my experience backing me up my best bet would be SA.
- I have 2 major qualities I want to speak on for this section. Those 2 being outreach and commitment.
I will start with outreach. With how much I am on site and talking to people there are very few times I walk into a room and I don't recognize someone or someone doesn't recognize me. I think this is a great strength not just because it's nice to have friends in high places but also because that connection allows easier communication and allows SA to be a trustable organization.
Secondly I want to point to my commitment to my roles. As I said above I have spent 6 months as an ECA which is a long time to be in any cl4. With this I believe I have proven my dedication and time commitment to the server as a whole. SA is a department that has a lot of long seated members and I want to be one of them with a good impact on the server and the departments I interact with.
3rd and finally as of recent I had a very brief stint of playing the Site Manager Monro for the Cub revival. I doubt this is helpfull as I held the name for maby half an hour but I wanted to add it regardless.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
- Authing work permits
- Giving keycards to those who may have lost them
- Overseeing regiments and departments
- Choosing new MTF commanders and DPT leads
- GOI relation management
- Speaking to CL5s about changing policies they control
- Conducting the CL4 meeting
- Escalating issues from cl4 issues to ethics/05 when needed
- Removal of bad actors from regiments
- Being a mediator between CL4s and CL5s
