For how long have you played on CG SCP: Since around February 2 years ago.
Age: 24.
In what country are you located?: UK.
Time zone: BST.
Character name(s): Foundation - Tommy 'Ulysses' Graham. UNGOC - Lucas 'Castiel' Simms.
Civilian name: Samuel Winchester.
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA.
Do you have a mic?: Yes I do.
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: Holding - ISD Investigator, ISD Inspector, ISD Commissioner, SCP-096, SCP-22415.
Held - E-11 LCPL, E-11 CSG, UNGOC SGT.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: 1 FailRP (Feb 21 2024) which I honestly don't remember what happened at all. 1 RDM (Mar 11 2024) which I don't really remember either but it may have been me dropping a Chemical Injection Gun on somebody's head and it killing them.
Why are you applying for Director of Internal Security?
Because there's a spot currently open and I am eligible to apply.. On a real note though, I've been here for a very long time now, slugging through thin and thick in the department. In all of this time, I've grown fond and attached to ISD to the point where other departments do not strike me in the same manner. What began ever since the first time I joined up, wanting to just uphold the rules and arrest criminals, has morphed into genuine care and affection for the department and the people in it. Back when I applied for Inspector, I simply wished to lend a helping and guiding hand to people whilst building a good reputation. However, now I see this as an opportunity to take it a step further. It's not about handing out tests, setting up checkpoints or grading documents anymore, it's about shaping the direction of ISD as a whole and making important changes that affect the entirety of the department and all of the people in Site-65. I want ISD to be proud for being a part of it. I want people to respect us not for being scary, unforgiving, uncooperative and tough, but rather for our teamwork, professionalism, mutual understanding, cooperation and support we can provide in their darkest hours. Any department is only as strong as the people in it and I would do my best to ensure that everyone was welcomed, felt like they mattered, they were always listened to and were motivated to keep improving like I once was and still am. Change is inevitable, and I would want nothing more than the ability to be the one to guide it in the right direction. In all of this time, my wishes have not changed. If anything, they have grown.
What makes you suitable for Director of Internal Security?:
I have been a part of this place long enough to figure out what the Internal Security Department is all about, the ins and outs, how we function and what kind of support or change is required and is also necessary for us to keep improving. That experience has taught me valuable lessons, the pros and cons of specific changes and ways we conduct our daily operations. I value every single one of our members and wish to assist in bridging the gaps, especially in areas where it is currently most lacking. I consider myself to be a thoughtful and supportive person that relishes helping people and upholding morality at all times. I have always tried my best to be approachable so that when somebody needs help they do not hesitate to ask me and also to be the rock that people can lean on when things get tough. Maintaining a healthy department starts from its roots and a department is at it's best when every member feels heard, appreciated and valued. I am fair and don't take sides blindly. I listen to all personnel involved, whether it be internal or external conflicts. I own up to any mistakes I make. Mistakes make us human but not letting them define you and learning from them instead is what's most important. I'd like for people to see mistakes as a learning opportunity and also prioritize teamwork and other people's well-being over their own personal agenda. I would strive to make sure our department remains balanced, tough when required but supportive and cooperative when it matters the most. People should feel motivated to grow together with the department and becoming a well-oiled machine is what every department should aspire to be. The way people inside the department conduct themselves is based on the way they witness people higher than them go about their daily duties and, as such, I would like to lead by example. I would also like to maintain and foster good relationships with other departments so we can cooperate and work together more instead of refusing to call upon one another and looking at each other with disdain. I'd like to believe I already have achieved a part of that with certain departments, but I would love for them to grow and expand upon others as well. All in all I just want to leave ISD in a better place than when I first found it.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Internal Security in RP?:
Directors are the upper core of the department and, as such, whichever way they decide to conduct things is how the entire department follows suit and functions. They lead the entirety of ISD, set standards and ensure the department runs smoothly. They make major decisions on the way the department functions as a whole and also make changes to ISD policies. They're the ones to identify key areas for improvement and make sure support is added where it is lacking. They oversee the entire department, whether that be operations, investigations, audits, arrests or tribunals, but most importantly, they help teach, guide and mentor the leadership team and, in turn, the leadership team does the same to other personnel. They also help resolve inner or outer conflicts where a leader is required and administer internal punishment for the leadership team. They keep a watchful eye and purge corruption before it can fester. They act as the leading party in emergencies and stressful situations and give orders as well as assign duties to ISD personnel. They deal with investigations and arrests of important personnel. They encourage the whole department into maintaining a high standard of teamwork, professionalism and fair conduct. The way they act directly influences the direction of everyone and, as such, they lead by example. They work together with all other departments but mainly focus on Ethics or Site Administration and may assist if required in important decision-making regarding site policies whilst also building and maintaining cohesion and trust with other departments. Essentially, they are the cornerstone that holds up the department and nurture everyone within it.
Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Please give some lore about your Director of Internal Security character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Many people within Site-65 know the name Tommy Graham. Some know him as the kind investigator who once gave them the benefit of the doubt and let them go. Others remember him as the inspector who put down a hostile techie union and restored discipline where it had collapsed. To many members of the Internal Security Department, however, he is the commissioner who is fair, just and took a long time to reach his current position. Long before work with the Foundation and classified investigations became part of his life, Tommy served as a policeman. He was inspired by his father who was a patrol officer. He joined the police force at the young age of eighteen. Over the following years, he developed a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and determination. Through countless years of investigations and major incidents, he slugged his way through the ranks until one day officially becoming a Chief Superintendent.
Everything changed following a specific case that would ultimately destroy his career. Fake evidence was planted and witnesses were bought. Someone designed an operation to frame Tommy as the very thing he had spent his life fighting against. The justice system he had devoted his life to had failed him. Convicted for crimes he never had a part in committing, Tommy spent five years in prison while those responsible remained free. Most men would have broken at this point, Tommy however was not like most men. His years locked away had hardened him, but they also taught him something much more valuable. It was that corruption thrives most freely when oversight becomes complacent and that rules only matter when people are willing to enforce them. Shortly after his release Tommy received an invitation from an organization unlike anything he'd seen before - The Foundation. They were keeping an eye on him for a long time and recognized his investigative work and dedication to justice, the Foundation offered him an opportunity to start again. Tommy had accepted without much contemplation, joining the Internal Security Department as an agent.
His adaptation to the Foundation was quick. He knew that no anomaly was more dangerous than a compromised employee and no act of corruption would be tolerated. Over the years, he had distinguished himself through many cases involving simple protocol violations, misconduct, unauthorized experiments and other internal threats. His investigative work became known being thorough, accurate, and his refusal to bend under pressure from higher-ranking personnel. His efforts earned him his first promotion in the Foundation to the rank of Investigator. As an Investigator, Tommy played a role in uncovering multiple instances that threatened the site. His ability to handle incidents allowed him to expose corruption before they had time to fester and grow dangerous. He became known as someone willing to pursue the truth regardless of all else. His successes eventually led him to his appointment as an Inspector. The transition from investigator to inspector brought many new challenges. Rather than handling individual cases, Tommy became responsible for supervising personnel, overseeing departmental operations, and ensuring the effectiveness of ISD itself. Under his leadership many individuals were nurtured into becoming thorough and dedicated agents of the Internal Security Department. Years later, Tommy achieved one of the most important positions inside of the Internal Security Department, he became a Commissioner. As a Commissioner, his responsibilities extended far beyond investigations. He was now playing a bigger part in the direction the department was heading in and coordination of ISD and other departments. During his time, he helped deal with major incidents, disputes, emergencies, staff mentorship and departmental challenges that tested him in both leadership and judgement.
Despite now holding authority, Tommy has never forgotten the lessons that had shaped him into the man he is today. He still remembered what it felt like to be powerless, what happened when the system he dedicated his life to had failed him and his time locked in prison for the crimes he did not commit. He knew that he had to protect the Foundation from the dangers that emerge when oversight is complacent. Now after many years of service, Tommy seeks appointment to the position of Director. Not for prestige nor for power, but because he believes the Foundation requires leaders who understand its structure. From the man who had once lost everything to corruption, doing his best to ensure the same fate never befalls others.
