However during a breach of SCP-[Redacted] Ty witnessed his whole family subsequently killed by the entity. In a stroke of luck when the foundation finally arrived to clean up, Ty managed to avoid them by using a dead MTF Agents uniform. Upon his escape he wanted answers and knew that he would need training in ordered to get them so he signed up with the closest recruiter.
Years passed and Ty severed his country faithfully reaching the rank of SGT ,however in an operation in jungles of Brazil he and the rest of his platoon worked along side a group of mercenaries which Ty eventually came to admire and respect. By the end of his tour he decided not to reenlist and to sign on with the mercenaries who had gained his respect.
Not much is know about their operations seeing as the group worked for high and low ranking individuals, however the mercenary band was task by The [Redacted] to find and retrieve an artifact (later designated SCP-[Redacted]) located in Southern Germany. Being used as an expendable force before the main units of [Redacted] were to move in and secure the entity, however to their surprise while sustaining heavy casualties the mercenaries still managed to retrieve the entity.
After the retrieval operation the foundation got wind of their success and many members of the Mercenary band were sought after and recruited to the foundation Ty being one of them. While Ty still wants to figure out more of what happened to his parents he has grow to respect members of the foundation he works with.

-Why are you applying for Security Captain?
D-Block is one of the most hectic and chaos ridden locations in the facility and to say attempting to control and quell the chaos is easy would be a lie. But I enjoy the challenge and have enjoyed being a sergeant, however I wish to step up and take a higher role so that I may be able to assist GSD in a greater capacity.-What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I believe that one of my strongest points is my adaptability and overall leadership skills under high stress environments. Which I believe would be invaluable for a place such as D-block with varying groups like D-class, CI, GOC, and SCPs all having a vested interest in D-block. I have also worked alongside Gensec Captains and other Sergeants to help train and teach Gensec endearing Cadets so that they may be of better use to the facility as a whole. This includes :
- organizing patrols to better orient Cadets and Guards
- Walking Cadets through the proper procedures of how to maintain D-block
- Teaching anyone who wishes it how they can pass their Killhouse
- teaching cadets how to properly take out D-class and give them to designated personel
- Walking indivduals through GENSEC procedures (this is so that other departments may work better with gensec policies)
-What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
the responsibility of a security captain is the following:- Maintain D-block
- Manage and organize GENSEC personnel
- Run Trainings and Tryouts for GENSEC so that each soldier is fit and ready for combat
- Maintain relations as well as assist other departments when necessary
- Make sure the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct are followed
- Ensure the safety of site personnel from internal and external threats
