Why are you applying for Security Captain? I believe I have what it takes to uphold good standards for GENSEC. I've also been heavily encouraged a few times to do so. Having already led a few times operations around the D-Block, I believe having the role of security Captain would facilitate my ability to have others listen to me, as well as the ability to reward them for their good doings. I've always felt like assigning people to Airlock or Tower felt like a punishment to them because it halted their XP progression, being a Captain would allow me to keep those people feeling like they can make progress while not tying themselves down to escort duties. It would also encourage them to stay in those positions, as they do tend to wander off...

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?: I have a solid grasp of the CoC, CoE, am quite capable of leading and assigning people to different task. I have prior experience of leadership on other games, hence the aforementionned leadership trait. I am unafraid to be wrong in the event that I am, learning from those mistakes and asking my superiors when unsure of something.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?: To lead and be the guiding hand for GENSEC throughout it's various duties in and out of D-Block, and make sure things run smoothly. To be a mentor for those who ask, or for those who need it. Assigning people to the tasks they are needed in, ensuring the proper ranks get sent to different areas for escort or having others be properly positioned around the various areas they need to be in. To resolve and de-escalate minor conflicts if there is to be any. Elevate and teach others about the rights and the wrongs that their duty entails; And finally, make the decision of when sweeps are needed, ensure that they are properly done with success.

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in: Vasilis Jackal always lived within the gray areas of society. Born in October 17th 1992 near the Ontario peninsula, Vasilis's twisted moral compass greatly contrasted his position of Chief of Police. On one hand, he always craved to seek out and punish those who would seek to break his version of the rules; But on the other, the proportion of the violence with which he inflicted said punishment did not match at all the crimes commited. This got him discharged and he would have lost a court case landing him several years in prison, had it not been for a sinister organization catching wind of him and knowing they could make use of such a character for their own plans...
