Why are you applying for Site Director?

I am applying for Site Director because I believe my vision for site allows me the leniency and trust that comes with the power Site Director.

I have been on site, on and off, for many years. Since late 2022 I have seen the site change drastically, for better and for worse. From old heavy to the hell that was single hallway floor 3, the changes site has gone through are both nostalgic and horrifying.

At its peak, I remember a site that worked together. GSD behaved themselves, and they were respected by their fellow MTF Cl4s. Research produced quality tests while E-11 stood by on call, ready for any disaster that may strike. GOC were our close allies, ready to assist us at any moment. SOP crushed our enemies, and CI was rarely seen within our walls. FCOM was distant but present, monitoring and changing site as the tides turned. War abounded, but peace was found.

In the present, I see an Site Admin that is truly great. People communicate to everyone, work flawlessly together, and we dredge ourselves through heaven AND hell towards a better site. I believe in the Site Admin we have, but a strong leader is needed to keep it moving in the right direction.

I am applying for Site Director because I want to, through close consideration and a keen eye, keep Site Advisory and every department on a path towards greatness.

What makes you suitable for Site Director over Site Advisor?

I think many things make me suitable for Site Director over being just an advisor.

Firstly, I believe that my involvement throughout site is of note among my peers. Although I have only been a Site Advisor for a little over a month, my impact has certainly been large. From helping E-11 with sampling permissions issues, to continued support on the GENSEC roster, to my oversight in DEA and ISD, I have excelled. For me, I do not feel as though I am just a Site Advisor over my department, but over the whole site. Ask around the department heads, I believe every one of them would know who I am and could list a positive interaction I have had with them. I believe I am an Advisor to the entire site, and I believe that mentality is imperative for a Site Director; someone anybody can come to with issues (when following the appropriate chain of command), and someone who truly tries to understand every department.

Secondly, I believe I have taken to my job as a Site Advisor quite fast. I have always loved politics, paperwork, and administrative duties. I feel immense joy when someone chooses to come to me with a problem, as it builds a certain level of trust and faith in both myself and my abilities. If I cannot solve a problem on my own, I do not hesitate to find comments or revisions from my fellow members of Site Administration. Everyone works hard, but I truly believe that when given a task failure is not an option; success at any cost. The job assigned to me is my duty, and I intend to complete it.

Finally, I know my limits. I am not perfect, all-knowing, nor have all the time in the world. A strong leader effectively utilizes all that is given to them, and for a Site Director that is all of Site Admin. I can effectively delegate tasks to my peers, prioritize tasks, and understand the balance between urgency and importance. As Site Director, utilizing your own time well is just as important as utilizing your team well. Site Advisory works together to achieve a better site, and I have the command and understanding which allows me to properly meet with others, disperse relevant knowledge, and condense information together to keep Site Advisory running like a well oiled machine.

I am up to the task; all it takes is a little bit of trust and a pinch of determination.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?

As a whole, Site Administration not only keeps the site running, but prepares it for the future by looking towards the horizon and moving it towards greatness at every step. Site Admin is given the ability to know and understand what is happening in every department, allowing us to be proactive in problems before they arise. We guide and assist Department Directors and Commanders in their day to day tasks, as well as choose those who will come after them.

Site Admin also works as a mediator between the lower level of site and FCOM, working with their upcoming directives and ideas to ensure site is working towards the future set in place by those with the highest burden on trust in the Foundation. Through the CoC, CoE, and FLC, Site Admin helps enforce a site where the rules work for all, and keep everyone (including Site Admin) on the right path.

In totality, Site Admin really has a singular goal; ensure that site is a place where everyone can thrive. This includes creating and participating in roleplay, the opportunities for personnel to do their jobs right, and ensuring that everyone knows they have have a helping hand if only they reach out for one.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

I was going through some archived Scipnet files and ran into something odd. It seems this file got compressed and, in the process, manually misfiled. It looks like a W, but its actually just two Vs put together. I swear, these RAISA folks get way too much credit...

+support even though he does not have the most experience at site admin, his impact is profoundly large, and I think if given a shot he would prove all doubters wrong.
