I am applying for Site Advisor because I feel like it is time for me to move on from a mainly combative role, into one where I can use my love for politics and guidance for the betterment of the site. GENSEC has been pretty much my only role on my many years on site, and while I have dabbled into some other departments, it was always what I loved to do. At this point though it has gotten a little stale for me, and I feel like a Sr Cl4 role where I can put my efforts towards policy, keeping site fresh and facilitating good RP across all departments.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?
I would say my suitability for Site Administration comes from my wide breadth of knoweldge from my time on site. Although a majority of my time has been spent on GSD, I have spent a lot of that time recently trying to connect with other departments and understand their perspectives to better understand how site functions as a whole. Since GSD connects with pretty much every non-surface department quite closely, I feel that I have a unique perspective on the inner workings or many pieces of site, despite being a combative. The new D-Class permit system was also recently implemented, headed by myself (current Roster manager) and Chief Abner. I feel this showcases my writing ability quite well, and that I can follow through the full process of idea inception to implementation.
I have also recently taken up a role as ISD, in an effort to understand the more rules and RP heavy portions of site, through a better understanding of the CoC, CoE, and FLC. I recently had the joy of representing a GSD Captain through a tribunal, and the effort/process that goes into it.
I am open to learning new things, love understanding the "why" behind decisions, and never back away from a challenge.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?
The main responsibilites of SA include, but are not limited to:
Choosing new Department Heads/MTF Commanders
Keeping control of site through AA, GOI assistance, and ERT
Overseeing their assigned department:
- Tending to issues within said department when needed
- Managing strenuous relations with other departments before things get out of hand
- Ensuring everyone is following the codes and policies set in place by Site Admin/Command
Sitewide policy changes
GOI relations
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Viktor Vaughn is an average health male, with no notable allergens or previous major incidents and/or injuries at Site-65. He is currently 26 years old.
Viktor's familial medical history is unknown. His parents died when he was young, and little information could be collected. The only thing of note that could be gathered from his family tree is that, following the first-born male lineage, no aformentioned member of this line has lived past to age of 30. Genealogy records show that his ancestors came from Egypt, moved up through Europe around the 10th century CE, and eventually came over to the United States as recently has 200 years ago. He has one living relative, a sister who manages the family estate in his absence.
Viktor came into the medical suite around three weeks ago, complaining about issues with sleeping. After some routine questioning, it seems he has recently been plagued with night terrors. He is currently being treated with a mix of antihistamines, sleep aids, and steroids; the antihistamines and steroids are due to inflamation of a tattoo he has on his upper right arm. After multiple days of using these prescriptions, his terrors subdued into simple nightmares, which is an improvement. He is still struggling to stay awake during working hours, however. The lack of sleep caused an incident with another member of site staff, ending with Viktor unintentionally causing fatal injuries to a Technical Enginner on site. His dosage has been further increased.
Viktor's case is progressing poorly. After repeated meetings with him I fear something supernatural may be occuring. His prominent tattoo, a snake enclosed around a headstone, has dissapeared. There have been cases of fresher tattoos being attacked by the immune system and fading, but this is extreme. Viktor claims this marking is the sign of his family crest, and every first born male gets it as a show of loyalty to the bloodline. He had mentioned his nightmares included family members he has never met, and only knows by name. To further establish if these have a connection, a sleep study is being planned for Viktor, and will be conducted soon. I fear that something sinister lies beneath the surface to this otherwise mundane man.
