What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number)
I am applying for O5-4 for many reasons, but I would primarily like to create a larger impact on the server, for instance, with the roleplay of departments around the site. In my time of playing the server, I believe FCOM hasn't been doing as much as they could with roleplay, which I plan on changing if I were to get accepted. I believe due to my roleplay knowledge and skills from past and current positions, I can greatly improve this. During my term as Alpha-1 REGCOM I have worked hard to improve the roleplay performed in the regiment, however, some attempts were useless considering it is a combat oriented regiment. I strongly believe if I were to be chosen as the next O5-4 I could greatly improve the roleplay, as I said.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I think I am the best candidate for O5 for plenty of reasons. The first reason, my leadership. Being LTCOM of Alpha-1 I have had many experiences where I need to express leadership, and seeing that I got to LTCOM, I believe I can do this well. I am able to think quickly when making decisions, which is perfect for someone applying for the council.
Additionally, as said before, I have had plenty of experience working under the Council. I have been in Alpha-1 for quite some time now, around 7 months. In this time, I worked with O5, learned about them, and also learned their duties. In my role as an OSA, I've handled numerous situations involving direct O5 orders, in-which I was acting under those orders to get a task completed. This puts me closer than most people in terms of knowing how an O5 has to act and what they do around the site.
Finally, my activity sets me apart from others. When I get on site, I play for around 4-6 hours a day, if I were to be chosen as O5 I could dedicate all this time to my duties as a O5 Council Member.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
The responsibilities vary based on the RP, but the most known ones are;
- Overseeing the sites operations
- Upholding / Discussing GOI relations
- Creating / Approving Research Projects / Documents
- Giving orders to Assistants and Alpha-1
- Detonation of the Alpha Warhead
- Calling ERT for breaches
- Updating / upholding the Code of Conduct
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
The responsibilities for O5 out of RP are;
- Choosing the Alpha-1 Commander
- Choosing / Voting on Site Director Applicants
- Creating Roleplay; as well as working with Roleplay Leads to create roleplay
- Choosing and voting on Assistant Applications
