[USA] Visionary / "The Unheard" O5-4 App.

Hey @Visionary, how do you plan to manage the transition from the combat heavy roles you've held into the 05 role? Will there be more three oranges incidents? or do you plan to move away from things like that?
Good question and good reference 😭

I plan to manage that transition in a few key ways, firstly, Alpha-1 is more leaned twoards "blood hungry" or torture oriented. While that works for the way they operate, the role as O5 is more then just that.

As LTCOM, ive already been trying to shift myself, and the regiment as a whole, into a more "larp" heavy thing, focusing less on combat and being blood hungry. As O5 I plan to expand this through Projects and Orders involving other departments. Mainly research, I have thought out some very good projects that both, RSD and A-1 can get involved in.

But to answer your question, yes, I do plan on moving away from straight torture and almost PKs if I were to be O5, focusing more on intimidation and investigation.

I think I'll take this opportunity to provide some advice from a former O5, that can be applied to all the applicants this cycle.
One thing I would like to see from any Overseer that gets accepted is to restore the decorum of the Council. I've been long out of O5 and FCOM, but something I always tried to push for back then was respect. The Council should be a position that begets respect and fear on its own. There really is no need to resort to barbaric techniques and torture without necessity, especially when you essentially control everything. I'm yapping a little bit.
What I am trying to say is that you don't need to be degrading and mean to be an O5. It's more terrifying to be calm and in control than to make open threats. Obviously you are free to play a character how you wish. But I think you'll find its far more fun to be mysterious than it is to be a dictator.

Thank you for the advice and I definitely will use some of it if I were to be picked, I'm always open to any suggestions :D

I too shall thank you for the advice even though it is not my application!

I have interacted with Visionary over the course of the last several months, maybe even around half a year.
He's a good candidate, has been willing to do interactions, and has generally held a generally level head in recent times.
In short. I support.

very good at larp, I think he would be a great choice for O5 as his leadership skills are amazing. He's a true leader and has great passion to be in O5.👑
