What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I have been in A-1 for around 3-4 months now, and I have a higher understanding of the role than most people applying. Obviously being an A-1 Lieutenant, I have direct experience playing with and working with the Overseers and Overseer Assistants. As a result, I have learned the jobs of both O5 and OSA very well, and know what their expectations are for tasks that require in depth work like completing orders.
Additionally, I believe I have more than enough experience currently to be able to do the job well. I am currently holding CL4 positions in both general security and the department of external affairs. I have established myself well in the community as generally someone everyone feels comfortable going to, and as a result that has taken me far in both RP roles and OOC roles with becoming one of the fastest promoted server leadership members.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
Overseer Assistants are responsible for acting in service of the 05 Council. They are responsible for executing/communicating any orders from the council down the chain of command. Additionally, assistants normally act as informants to the 05 Council about things happening within the facility. Overseer assistants are also normally assigned random orders that the O5 want them to complete, reporting any issues to the 05 Council. Lastly, like the 05 Council and A-1, overseer assistants enforce the foundation’s code of conduct. They also do things like; investigating anything placed out by the council, occasionally interviewing foundation personnel, authorizing AA during SCP breaches, organizing/authorizing sweeps and other random activities on site as well as the other general cl4 responsibilities that apply across all cl4 jobs.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what story lines they would be involved in:
Kenneth Sanders had a normal life for the typical American kid. At the age of 22 when he graduated college, he was recruited as an officer into the United States Army. However, while working for the army as an intelligence officer, and he was part of the military unit that contained SCP-4510. Upon the military releasing SCP-4510 into the SCP Foundation's custody, Lieutenant Sanders was recruited out of the United States Army into the SCP Foundation by REDACTED. Lieutenant Sanders began working in security as a security guard stationed at Site 19 working in securing several of the safe class SCP's stored within the site. However, upon being transferred to site 65, now Sergeant Sanders began working within the security wing in charge of D-class personnel. He was eventually promoted to a captain within GenSec.
However, during his time within the foundation Captain Sanders has seen several instances of GOI's assassinating high clearance personnel. Most notable of which was Evil Joese taking out several members of the DEA leadership, Site Administration, and Site Command. After seeing this treasonous behavior from Evil Joese, Captain Sanders started pursuing a career within the department of external affairs to try and prevent Evil Joese and others like him from entering the site and killing these high ranking personnel. While Sanders has beheaded several members of the Chaos Insurgency over his time within External Affairs, he still remains focused on his one true target, EVIL JOESE. In order to complete his hunt, Sanders feels the need to advance within the department of external affairs to be able to uncover more information on who Evil Joese is and how this brutal assassin can be stopped.
Tragically, DEA Special Agent Sanders was involved in a skirmish on surface with the Evil Joese after the assassination of Site Manager “Squirrely”. During a pursuit of the assassin, Evil Joese, Special Agent Sanders took a bullet from one of the missed shots of the assassin. As a result, Special Agent Sanders was unable to use his right arm. Sanders was offered the opportunity by the director of external affairs to become the official DEA secretary for the case of Evil Joese. However, Special Agent Sanders has decided to attempt to pursue a different opportunity serving the overseer council.
