Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?
- I am applying for IA Ambassador as I enjoy ensuring that the site is managed safely and personnel is doing their proper duties. IA is a great way to help the facility and its personnel run smoothly. The ambassador position also gives me the ability to assist newer IA agents in their journey to help the facility.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
- I am suitable for this position due to my plentiful experience throughout my time at SCP-RP. My knowledge of both ethics and the codex from working in IA, Security, Intel, and Ethics in the past will help increase my speed and efficiency when handling situations as an ambassador. I also enjoy working with others, which will make it easy for me to work alongside other ambassadors to complete any task at hand. My ability to quickly adapt will also help me grow within the ambassador position if new regulations or such are introduced, I will be able to quickly adapt and work off such changes. Additionally, I just enjoy helping out the personnel around the site, and IA is the best way to help personnel in my eyes.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
- I have written quite a few documents during my time. I personally think a good document is one that has the following: good and consistent formatting, concise and understandable wording, detailed information, and covers all needed information in an orderly manner.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
- The responsibilities of an IA ambassador in RP can differ from time to time and depends on their assigned task. If you're the only ambassador on, then you will have to manage more than if more ambassadors are on to assist. While alone, you will need to manage your normal duties, new agents, and current agents, and handle any requests from other leadership to IA. If there are multiple ambassadors on, then you can split tasks among each other. However, either way, there are some normal duties that are specifically assigned to different ambassadors that will need to be handled. Such duties are given by the Deputy Director+ as seen fit. Additionally, as previously mentioned, if other departments or personnel request assistance or duties from IA that require an ambassador, such tasks should be carried out. Another previously mentioned duty is the management of new and current agents, for new agents: ambassadors must run trainings and exams for such personnel, and for current agents: ambassadors must ensure they are actively doing their duties properly at all times and help send them around to deal with tasks as need be.
Please give some lore about your Internal Affairs Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Zach has been all over the facility. Starting out as a low-level Gensec and working up to the rank of Captain. To then move into MFT Nu7 where Zach got all the way to Seargent before being brought into MTF [REDACTED] and making it to the rank of Lieutenant. Zach was then honorably discharged from said MTF to pursue a carrier within the Ethics Committee. Here, Zach excelled at furthering the goals of the facility and ensuring that it maintains a positive ethical standing. Zach enjoyed working alongside the rest of the committee to help build the foundation up and increase the ethical standing of its personnel. Zach was so good at the job that he was even able to achieve the position of Deputy Chairman, which he took with honor. However, after a long and successful carrier within the Ethics Committee, Zach stepped down to give others a chance to help the committee and pursue other positions. Zach then went into the now-disbanded Intelligence Department as an ambassador to help aid the facility's external intelligence-gathering efforts. Eventually, Zach felt that he needed to step away from the facility, so he got leave and stayed away for some time. Now though, he is back and ready to work hard again on making the facility secure, contained, and protected. He feels that IA is a good place to do so as he has worked in and with IA in the past, so he knows the deal.
