What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This would overhaul the weapon switch mechanics to where guns that are smaller can switch quicker while guns that are bigger take more time. Along with that I’d like to maybe even add the idea of suppressors and foregrips increasing the weapon switch time as the gun is more bulky. The base idea I have is here:
Matadors and AT4s would have a 3 second pullout timer cause they are RPG’s and I don’t need to say more.
Snipers and some guns would have 2.5 second pullout timers due to the sniper being so long it's hard to get out of a sling and B because it would make sense for balance. (snipers will still be the kings of surface but it would mean you have to work together to make sure they stay alive).
Machine Guns would have a 2 second pullout timer due to their large bulky size but not being as long as a sniper.
Assault Rifles would have a 1 second cool down allowing most guns to still be quick but still take time to pull out.
Shotguns would be a middle ground it would most likely have a 0.75 pullout speed just to make them a little faster then ARs.
Sub Machine Guns and Personnel Defense Weapons (along with the reapers knife) (maybe have PDWS be a little faster) would have either a 0.5 second pullout time or a 0.75 pull out time making them way quicker then AR’s.
Pistols/Knifes/other small weapons would either have a 0.5 second pull out timer or a 0.25 pull out timer.
Some attachments like Sniper scopes, Surpressors, and foregrips could have negative effects on pullout timers making it to where people with less attachments can pull out their guns quicker than those who don’t.
Addition: Maybe adding a foregrip that increases weapon switch time by a %? I think that'd be fun and interesting
NOTE: Some guns would HAVE to have bigger pull out timers due to how good they are. This could also be used to semi buff some guns who never get enough love.
Also just adding tabs for SMGs and Shotguns in the attachment menu cause I don’t think people realized that (maybe also Heavy machine guns too). This would just allow ease of use then navigating the menu and it wouldn’t make people think their gun isn’t a LMG/HMG when it is.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
This would buff a LOT of people so let me start this.
First this would buff class-d allowing them to pull out their gun quick to kill GSD (this naturally buffs class-d and I think this is a good way to as gun visibility has had a major nerf to their gameplay)
Second this would buff ISD allowing them to quicking switch to SMGs/Pistols if something goes wrong.
Third it gives Non combatives a chance to stop someone trying to kill them (they will almost always lose but it gives time to react)
Fourth this would be a major buff to DC’s as they can pull out their gun before you realize they are doing it allowing them to get the drop down on unsuspecting people.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Maybe code makes this impossible? I don’t know LUA or code for much so this might just be instantly denied.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I personally think this change would create a lot more cooperation with people as now heavies and snipers have to commit to pull out their weapons which makes it to where you can’t get mowed down because you both didn’t have your guns out. This suggestion would also buff pistols and SMGs making them useful especially on sniper as you can quickly pull it out to deal with people behind you. This would just be a lot of fun and would buff SMG’s and pistols and they really need that (mostly SMGs).
Also to note: These are bases for each class of gun. This is not saying that the AA-12 should have a quicker switch timer then an AR-15 with nothing on it I’m just saying a switch timer would be good and would buff the classes of guns that already suck really bad and actually help somewhat hinder guns that are more overpowered.
