What RP is there on this server other than sampling "rp"

so why is it then labelled as an "rp" server when i've played for 2+ years and never once had good rp, it's more fun to mess around than play the shit gameplay loop of "stand in dblock and take dclass to room where they die in 5 mins"

I think it depends on who you interact with, I know within the people I interact with I get roleplay.
If you have been on this server for over 2 years and not once role-played well then I imagine trying other things. Role-play normally doesn't just come to you, you create it yourself. And if its bad or low quality it only reflects on those involved not the server as a whole.
Ok fine I’ll give my serious response
I think a major factor is people in higher positions( mainly cl4 but in some cases cl3 roles also ) have a lot more RP than low clearance levels. Speaking from a ISD leadership standpoint on USA I’ve been monitoring ETS and I’m not liking what I see. ETS players are three things 1. Minges which is the most common 2. Short time people trying to just get xp and 3. The absolute coolest people and nicest people ever
I myself was a former member of category 1 and I think it’s a major issue with how people see ETS. Don’t get me wrong a lot of category 1 is super funny but it kind of ruins it for the category 3 people. I have seen people get arrested for max time just for simple things where a warning could be given. I don’t like it at all and I think there is 0 RP behind throwing a guy in jail for forgetting to disable a perma gun for example. I speak on my own opinion and not the entirety of ISD but if you want to do dumb shit as techie and have actual RP behind your crimes feel free it’s kind of ISD’s job to deal with it. If you notice a loophole in a law or legal system try to prove a point with RP!
I am speaking about one part of the server but a severe misunderstanding that all crimes have no RP behind them and should just be max time in jail. If you are going to be apart of category 1, have the RP and general good attitude of category 3.

Crimes can be RP, Infact I wish people did more crimes with RP such as unionizing because guess what that’s the entire point of ISD to deal with aka our RP. We rely on the people who do the crime so give us something cool to do.
