Why isn’t there a consistent news log for patch notes

I’m wondering why there isn’t updates posted on developmen, i’m pretty sure 7722 was added without a news update

There was a whole #announcements post and a #change-logs message that both got @everyone'd for the August SCP update, which is when SCP-7722 got released...
