I've only been active on the server since the start of this year, so a lot of that time has been spent learning all the specific rules and such. Examples are not being allowed to door block with Riot Shields during riots, or not being allowed to use voice changers in-game. The other problem I've had is discerning between the different rules of the US and the UK. I started off playing a lot on the UK server and noticed that there's a huge difference in the moderation between the two. I've been warned for a lot more things and notice that the US moderation team hands out punishments left and right for small issues rather than giving people a fair shot to make a difference. I hope to bring a different style of moderating, that's more relaxed and more understanding. One that will allow players to follow rules with compassion and respect more for other players, rather than because of fear of the admins banning them. Taking into account each person's age, and demeanor in each scenario. Sometimes people are just having a bad day and get treated like shit on the server so they lash out, rather than seeing these people as "trolls" or "minges" (aside from the very obvious ones) I hope to treat everyone in a sit like human beings with feelings and emotions. Something I can do very well from my job experience IRL too as a psych nurse. I deal with people having altercations at the ward fairly often, and the majority of the time understanding both people's sides goes a much longer way in dealing with the issue than trying to find one person to blame.

Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community?:
- Yes
I used to be a moderator on an older Dark RP community that was around in the 2018s.

Do you have any previous experience with serious roleplay?:
- Yes, I have over 2500+ hrs on GMod and I've been playing serious RP servers since I was 14 (26 now) so I have a lot of RP experience.

How many hours can you be on everyday?:
- 6+ hrs, 4 times a week.

Why do you want to become a moderator for our server?:
- I work night shifts so I'm up pretty late on the server. I noticed that there is a lack of moderation in the later hours of the night, mostly when I'm on, and the foundation is a mess. I want to be a moderator so I can help the server maintain a level of order even in the later hours of the night when things are the most chaotic. It would help maintain player counts later in the night, especially on weekdays since most admins probably work day jobs and aren't able to moderate on busy weekdays late into the night.

What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants?:
I think I would be very helpful because of my work schedule. Since I work 7 PM - 7 AM, 3 days a week, I get 4 days off to play on the server. Because I work graveyard shifts, I'm up pretty late most nights and I'll be on until 10 AM some days, which is why I started on the UK server initially. I think the hours I would be able to work are one of, if not the only thing, that makes me special over the other applicants. I'm sure there are a lot of other candidates that could do just as good - if not better than me as a moderator. But I feel like I've learned a lot of the rules just by my time and experience on the server. I'm almost level 100, and I feel like there's still always more to learn. I hope that by becoming a trial moderator I can learn all the things I still need to know, all the while making a difference in the environment of the server by bringing my experiences to the team and representing what it means to be Civil Gamers.
