What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
I believe that clearing spores should give SCP (or) combat XP. Dependent on the size and type of spore (large , spike, etc) and if it’s a nest or not.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Not that I am aware of

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Gives people XP for a task that quite frankly should as it’s technically fighting an Scp.
- Encourages focus on the spores, and specifically nests

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Only downside I could think of is someone arguing it turns into 008 into an XP farm but I don’t believe that to be an issue.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

As the spores are technically an Scp - I believe that XP should be given (either combat or SCP) for clearing said spores- not a lot, just a decent amount based on size , type , etc

In terms of design, I see 008 breaches as being rare enough that issues like exp farming or being a new and common source of exp to not be impactful enough to warrant not pursuing it.

My main concerns come from the actual implementation of this and how the foam spray SWEP works. I don't think it's particularly easy from a programmatic standpoint to determine which player is responsible for clearing the spore, especially in instances where multiple people are clearing a room full of spores at the same time. I can't imagine that the created foam has a kind of "player that created this" kind of metadata attached to it, although it might make resolving issues with players unnecessarily spamming foam everywhere easier to resolve if it existed and was a thing easily accessible by staff for moderation - As well as for use in giving exp in this way.

Aside from the issues I see with implementation, there's also something else about the idea of giving exp for clearing spores that I can't quite put my finger on that makes me hesitant to fully support it.
