Let's just allow D-Class to fail RP next, but seriously, why would they intentionally breach something that is clearly perceived as world-ending and dangerous in RP? I can kind of understand breaching like 076 or 912, but 008 is a whole different beast.

this is a extremism suggetion.
also the "definitions" of "extermism" (from wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extremism):
"Extremism is a complex phenomenon, although its complexity is often hard to see. Most simply, it can be defined as activities (beliefs, attitudes, feelings, actions, strategies) of a character far removed from the ordinary. In conflict settings it manifests as a severe form of conflict engagement. However, the labeling of activities, people, and groups as "extremist", and the defining of what is "ordinary" in any setting is always a subjective and political matter. Thus, we suggest that any discussion of extremism be mindful of the following: Typically, the same extremist act will be viewed by some as just and moral (such as pro-social "freedom fighting"), and by others as unjust and immoral (antisocial "terrorism") depending on the observer's values, politics, moral scope, and the nature of their relationship with the actor. In addition, one's sense of the moral or immoral nature of a given act of extremism (such as Nelson Mandela's use of guerilla war tactics against the South African Government) may change as conditions (leadership, world opinion, crises, historical accounts, etc.) change. Thus, the current and historical context of extremist acts shapes our view of them. Power differences also matter when defining extremism. When in conflict, the activities of members of low power groups tend to be viewed as more extreme than similar activities committed by members of groups advocating the status quo."

if we put your suggetion into the definitions of extermism (which is above), the current status that CN has is "normal" and if this suggetion somehow goes passed, this suggetion will not be extreme because its will be a "normal thing".

Oh hello Mr.Putin.

This would need a substantial amount of additional rulings on it to govern when a D-Class could reasonably breach 008, rules which I think stray too far into ruleplay instead of roleplay. D-Class should be allowed to hold it hostage, and negotiate their release or something, and breach it under the circumstance of an MTF attempting to break their laid out rules, like no more then 2 people in the airlock at a time or whatever, similar to breaking out of cuffs.

Overall I dont see much additional RP being added by allowing it, and the extra 008 breaches would be fun, and it would give incentive for D-Class to actually go into HCZ, but with it being rules they cannot breach SCPs at all I dont see this being a reasonable addition. Maybe Site-9?

I mean, we're already pretty in the weeds of ruleplay territory here. Almost every imposed restriction on D-Class discussed here so far is consistently rule-based.

the concept of d-class getting to 008 or any other scp in the first place is insane
"Ah yes, let me just use the CL4 clearance card I have obtained somehow, enter the deepest part of this facility that has kept me captured, enter the chamber covered in biohazard warnings, use my major hacking skills to bypass the biometric and airlock pressure, and inject myself/someone else with this thing clearly kept under lock and key"

They don't know anything about any SCPs if they haven't seen them in RP, yet they can still breach them.
I already answered your questions. They don't need to know about any one of those other than one. They have to know hacking. We just assume some Class-Ds know how to hack things, or they wouldn’t be able to breach any SCPs other than 035. They wouldn’t even be able to hack the D-Block bulk door.

It's just hypocrisy to see no issue with a Class-D breaching 079 or 682, but to have a problem with them breaching 008.

I agree with you on the last argument which you said if someone gets angry they should be to kill that person and it should be an ingame issue but the problem with that is, its impossible to apply that rule. It just creates a loophole for people to abuse.
The difference between 079 and 682 and 008 is those 2 are easily Containable and not as big of a threat. 008 At minimum requires code black FSL ERT AA authentication to everyone and STILL can end in a nuke there not comparable in any way
