What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Allow SA/FCom to change the Clearance of SCP-914 to 3, and change other SCP's Clearances within reason

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
It is more than likely

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Makes it harder for D-Class to escape to SCP-914
Benefits for Low-Pop Server Health.
Indirect CI Nerf 😎😎😎😎
Allows IC Leadership to make the decision and have more control over specific SCPs.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
D-Class mains will lose out on "RP" that consists of blending in, being sneaky, and killing random non-combatives and low levels, then freeing all of their friends so the server becomes a shit-show.
Indirect CI Nerf 😔😔😔😔
Tech Experts will lose their favorite hideout

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Achieving legalized Mass RDM should be harder than just slipping past 3 GSD and a Medical Trainee because the server is understaffed. As it stands, In-Character SCP-914 already requires extensive authorizations for most usage instances anyway, and CL2 Researchers do not often use it.

I hope you know if you change 914 to CL 3, they are going to add a cl 3 in D block to balance things out.. (Stated from a previous suggestion)

- / + Support, would cause a lot of changes with Unforeseen Consequences....

I'd be ok with this if there was some sort of "currency" or allotted "security points" that IC leadership management need to keep track. I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but I thought about this sort of idea ages ago, so for example:

Total points: 100 (not sure on the exact number needed.)
CL0: 0 points
CL1: 1 point
CL2: 2 points
CL3: 3 points
CL4: 4 points
CL5: 5 points
Biometric: +5 points to whatever it's added to
Keypad: +3 points to whatever it's added to

This (in my mind), is to prevent every door ever from being a CL3+, and just everything being so secure that raiding without a keycard is nearly impossible.

Of course, no idea if this is a good idea or not, just some sort of loose basis I thought of ages ago. Of course, it's possible to make this simplified by separating hacking difficulty from clearence, so who knows? Any sort of ideas alongside this?

Or simply remove 914 altogether in favor of content that is in line with what this server is moving forward towards

At the moment, the arguments surrounding it feel like changes that exist only to benefit those who are most directly impacted, and it is doubtful any adjustment would meaningfully improve 914. The reality is that D-Block will always be where 914 sees the most roleplay activity. Using it as a tool to hand out guns or create “super soldiers” is an inappropriate use of that content, and it needs to be reconsidered.

A near perfect reply that touchs on the fact that it is time the server changes.

But for now because i doubt they will remove 914
