Why do USA not enforce a bunch of rules?

This has been something that has come up time and time again on Discord and whatever. Someone will complain that a UK admin came onto USA and enforced a rule, with the person complaining having issues with the staff members enforcing the rules, rather than the staff members that are failing to enforce this. I know this was something that USA staff were told they should be doing ages ago, but it seems pretty clear that it's not from complaints from USA players in mess hall. For as long as I can remember, things like mixing, naming con, bhopping, etc. are all not enforced most of the time on USA, whereas it is very much so on UK - why? Is this a staff policy or are USA staff genuinely just ignoring certain rules because they feel like it?

I'm mainly bringing this up because I keep seeing USA players getting mad at UK staff that come on simply because they do actually enforce rules like those and they feel that because USA staff don't enforce it, it's allowed and should be allowed. It seems like UK staff regularly get shit for this despite this not being at all their fault. I do remember getting it a lot myself when I was staff - the moment I started trying to enforce naming con, 90% of players I pulled would get mad at me and say stuff like "I've had this name for months and only you've had an issue with it" when their name is like Joe Biden or Springle Sprangle Dingle Dangle or something like that. It never made sense that those names weren't already being pulled immediately, and they were on UK, and it just meant that only UK staff would enforce them on USA and then they'd get shit for it with a lot of USA players just broadly proclaiming that UK staff are bad for enforcing the actual server rules.

For the record, I'm not trying to get onto USA staff about this, I'm just trying to find out why those rules are not generally enforced, because it seems to cause friction between UK and USA, especially between UK staff and USA players

I guess USA staff might be more laxxed than UK? Not entirely sure. I try to enforce all the rules to the best of my ability, however I'm just one person.. so.

Hey Zen, this is something that shouldn't be occurring (Staff not enforcing rules) as Staff members (Both servers) are expected to not only follow all rules, but enforce all rules.

If you find any staff member (US or UK) is not enforcing rules, please make a staff complaint in the Complaints section.

That's the problem, I would if I knew what was even going on. I'm going based off of USA players yapping in mess hall every other week about "UK staff are shit, they made me change my name from Colonel Sanders that USA staff let me have for 27 years" or similar stuff for mixing or whatever.

This is the usa server people probaly do the zaza before logging on also there probaly was smth serious before cadets chefs were like "you know what fuck this bullshit" and just went whole loony tunes style and now its more of so the chill server not to mention humour diffrence british humour is more of so you have to think deeply about the joke american humour is haha i do something random so funny and thats how the order collapses underneath also not to mention time zones most admins probaly think of the united kingdom as the serious rp so they all go there and the left over people become usa admins because i think this kind of stuff happens often in other servers

It is rather cooked. When I went on USA I would see a bunch of common obvious rule breaks happening but not being enforced. It is not only the lower ranked USA staff members, but also SL and SSL on USA that ignore the same obvious rule breaks, which have an obvious effect on the lower ranks.
