What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[Adds Elastic Restraints to Combat Medic Arsenal]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[Not sure but doesn't seem like it's been taken care of yet.]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[Ability to not have to wait for other combative's to restrain for us. General use escorting personnel around Medbay.]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[Non that I can think of.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[It's necessary for us, otherwise we wait 15 minutes in between for the dispensers.]

Update Note - I noticed a lot of push back and I've got to wonder, if non-combative such as I.A have access to handcuffs and elastic restraints, what is the big deal for combat medics having them?

Combat medic is literally just Better GSD Officer at this point.
They are allowed to assist in D-block, however it is not meant to be their core duty.
They should be healing GSD and staying at the back of combat in D-block, playing a Support role.

At risk of sounding like a broken record, it is quite literally Not Their Job.

+ Support

Why? They can take D-Class out for healing.
Poor reason , GSD are the ones extracting em, it's their job to do so.

also you guys dont need em if you are talking about d-block and d-class, gsd give d-class to any available medical personnel anyway, last time i checked only gsd could handle d-class

How is cuffing D-Class not a supportive role? And why is it such a big deal for them help fill in GSD shoes if understaffed? CM's on US can escort tests and do pretty much anything GSD can. They play an incredibly important role in healing and reviving fallen MTF during code 1's and 5's and GSD when nothing is going on or there's a code 2. I see no reason why they have to wait 15 minutes every life at the dispenser for something as simple as restraints. At this point I'd just metal cuff the D-Class and force them to slowly walk to airlock because I can't get my restraints!!!!

Suggestion Denied

Hi @Harvester ,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

The ability to arrest/kidnap or take D-class isn't part of a combat medic's primary role henceforth this is deemed unnecessary. For completing secondary (less frequent) tasks as they can be dispensed

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.
