What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds something similar to the shield wall that will kick anyone currently in a dimension out of it, to the Foundation Cartographer

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Shadow Realm is less overpowered
- More control over general mingery for important areas

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Makes raids with dimension slightly harder
- Only buffs Foundation
- Foundation might not be able to control whoever is on cartographer to use it well

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think it should be accepted because it offers at least a slight bit of counterplay to the new dimensions.
Only giving it to the Foundation cartographer is important because the GoIs have single hallway entrances which would basically make their bases dimension proof.
Also only giving it to that job would mean there is only a single possible wall, which isnt nearly enough to cover the whole site, meaning one place would have to be chosen to protect especially.

Alternatively maybe have permanent such barriers around the site in some key locations, connected to electro boxes which can be sabotaged

From what Ive seen there is basically no counterplay to the ahadow dimension as it costs 30k and can only be spawned in by MC&D, so there is no way to guard against it

Should have a 'HP' similar to shield walls that people in other dimensions can deplete, but would make an audible alert from the baseline reality side, acting as an 'alarm barrier'. Hell, not even a wall, maybe just an alarm type thing.

Full support on adding 'no rift zones', e.g you can't enter certain areas of the site in other dimensions, such as 008, bunks rooms, ECO offices, Floor 3 offices - something along the lines of the dimension being too unstable for safe travel




!!! I am fully in favour of letting this play out for a week perhaps to see how we can adapt to it !!!
