Content Suggestion Changes to D-class suits :D

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is hoping to change or partially change some gameplay aspects with the suits that D-class wear depending on their karma. As many may know these suits are either the main reason for metagaming and preventing/providing certain privileges. However, this is quite bland as they serve almost no purpose other than that, I'm here to say we should add some rewards for wearing these suits.



What each suit could provide the player who is currently wearing it:
Trustees Low Security Medium Security High Risk Escape Risk
A monetary reward for each credit given which could be 500$A monetary reward for each credit given which could be 250$No benefits due to this suit being provided to you when you start or are at 0 KarmaExtra scrap collection modifier which could be 10% more scrap per pileDiscounts from the Scrap dealer due to being a respected D-class (which would make sense Rp wise) which could go from 15% when there is no riot and 25% when there is a riot
Different types of XP from credit like Medical, Research, and SCP or CombatExtra scrap collection modifier which could be 20% more scrap per pile

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Yes, it has (Because I tried to do this before) but this isn't a part of a much larger idea of updating D-block/D-class entirely. This Would make D-class suits have a real purpose and a reason to strive for them.


Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
D-class suits would have a real purpose other than to restrict/provide gameplay opportunities and would make sense in RP as D-class who have proven themselves would usually have more benefits whether it be for Escape Risks or Trustees compared to the normal medium risk.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
In truth there are no negatives for this other than this being a D-class "Buff"

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Well, there are no negatives to this other than it being a problem to code, but the benefits would make D-class more enjoyable and more realistic due to each suit getting their own benefits.

The idea is good and sound - I just don't like that one side is just "Money" and the other is "In-Character Scrap Coolness", the different XP for Trustees would be cool but I'm not sure how it would properly do this.

I do like the idea of each direct of D-Class giving bonuses that favour the D-Class in that direction though.

I like this idea, rewards good behaviour for those who want to be trustees/low risks, other than guards trusting them slightly more and maybe being able to get a work permit, and makes high/escape risks a more persistent and tangible threat to keep an eye on!

I quite like the bonuses presented.
Money for low risk and Trustee makes sense, Class D don't get a salary outside of the dispenser in D-block and/or XP depending on who credits the Class D.
And For high risk and Escape Risk I think a bonus on quests would be good.

Maybe the "escape risk" d-class unlock one or more new item/s from scrap dealer that you can buy, like cl3 card, rifle, ammo, medkit or hailstorm?

Only allow high security D-Class to play flushes of Hearts.

Real talk though, high security should get some type of smuggle capability - Encourage them to do a test to try and get something they shouldn't have and that increased smuggling capability would make it easier for them bring it back into D-Block to cause problems later, although it would still need a semi-reliable counter without being completely unusable. This would incentivise them to do more testing RP while making it a more combative thing that would make sense for them to have, without being too accessible or overly disrupting balance.

...Low security could gain some kind of sampling buff?

some random ideas I was able to come up with. This is just a list, I'm not trying to say all of these should be added

trustee:
pay $40-$50 paid the same way the rest of the server is.
maybe a type of D-Class CL1 card (most will go ask for one when on a work permit anyway)
start with 10-20 armor (high quality jumpsuit)
start with field kit
bonus xp on credit
+20%-30% cost from scrap dealer


Low Security:
pay $20-$30 paid the same way the rest of the server is.
start with 5-10 armor (nice jumpsuit)
start with bandage
+10%-15% cost from scrap dealer


Medium Security:
nothing changed


High Risk:
more scrap from piles 10%-20%
bonus xp on foundation staff kills
10%-20% discount on select items from scrap dealer :knife, cl1, etc, nothing crazy
start with fists


Escape Risk
more scrap from piles 30%-40%
bigger bonus on foundation staff kills
start with knife
slightly faster run speed (nothing huge just enough to catch people running away)
15%-25% discount on select items from scrap dealer: knife, cl1, cl2, etc, just a tad better
10%-15% discount on guns from scrap dealer.
bonus HP +10 (just for fun)
