What does this suggestion change/add/remove: Adds a warfunds to CI to allow the spawning of a single under cover foundation agent within the site
The C.I member would be able to choose a clearance for the undercover CI operative costing more warfunds for each level of clearance that they spawn with (Including biometrics) and what department that they would be disguised as
These operatives would be considered non combative and would be unable to breach SCPs, Acting as support for CI that raid or collecting items such as samples without being discovered and being held to the same standard as other personal on site, They'd be allowed to authorize tests and procedures that the corresponding foundation rank would be able to (excluding protocols relating to dblock due to them being none combative)
The cooldown for the warfund should start once the current person using it dies or disconnects to prevent multiple CI from having the role at the same time
as something similar been suggested before? Not that I know of
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2): Allows those members in CI who want to RP within a certain department a way to do so without having to have the fear of their disguise leaving, or not having the correct information such as a high humes level since they are considered a foundation staff member.
Gives CI an additional way to scout within the site and spend their warfunds in off hours, Since it isn't combative it wouldn't affect server pop as much as a deepcover raid
Possible Negatives of the suggestion: Potential chance of metagame through the voice of CI players and its hard to moderate what the players are doing on the class without getting a staff member involved (IE i let a Delta onto the class and they act combative despite being ordered not to)
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: I believe the suggestion gives more RP to a lot of departments on the server
It makes E-11 have to scrutinize documents more before authorizing samplings/Tests
it makes ISD keep a look out for policy breaks on CL4 staff (Trying to weed out potential DCs)
It gives GSD reasons to look over the test before it is conducted to make sure that everything is following policy
