Crashing when trying to join server

Title says it all really, when i try and join it get all the way to the lua files part then it crashes

What version are you playing on?

Used to have the same problem til I switched to x86-64 Chromium

You can switch it by going to properties on Steam Gmod and then betas

does anyone know how to fix this??

I keep crashing, when I crash there is a pop up reading "Engine Error" I have validated my files, got every windows update + drivers yet it is still fucked

download the workshop files
download the map
and use 64x chormic

If you hear fans going faster use task manager and screenshot and send it here

Fixed it not sure what of these steps fixed it but, i reinstalled all the addons for the server, validated the files of Gmod and reinstalled Gmod

it was likely file corrupt

Uninstall all addons
Verify Game Files
Try again

Did you fully remove all addons and then after Verify Game Files and Id try to switch version to x86 -64 Chriomum right click Garrys mod on steam press propertys and go to betas and switch It.

I have uninstalled all addons and verified yes.
