What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Edit or remove the ammo markers that some jobs get (mainly support jobs)
All I'm asking is that either something is changed with these jobs, maybe implement them being able to resupply the marker at ammo stashes and allow it to drop other entities, e.g. grenades, rockets, etc, and make it a functional job for combat support, or remove the swep entirely from the jobs.
As of current, the swep is just... kinda dogshit. It drops you a total of 120 ammo which, sure is cool, but ammo is already holsterable, and half of the time if you are the one who uses the swep, the ammo cannot be picked up by you, as it bugs and can only be picked up by different people.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Don't think so
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Makes combat support jobs more worth having alongside raids, missions etc and even more functional in war
- Gets rid of, or makes use of a currently useless inventory-filler Swep
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Dev time bias
Unless you just remove it i suppose
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
If someone actually reliably gets onto a combat support job to utilise this swep, colour me impressed... and kind of disappointed.
Honestly, every time I've been asked by someone if I have ammo on me, because they ran out, I am ALWAYS on a random ass job that doesn't get that swep, and I just drop them holstered ammo which is typically more than I would have been able to give them with that swep, AND it doesn't make a loud ass noise that can be heard 3 miles away!
