Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I have seen but the search mechanic isnt great
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
People are less confused on how ISD rank alongside others
ISD have a rule based standing to use when/if they try to order others
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Some newer ISD may try and order people they have no need to
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Although ISD are technically CL 3.5 They have CL4 knowledge and are trusted to act appropriately and are usually more experienced players with the site and server, it also gives a definitive place to ISD as they arent supposed to take orders from non site command but technically the rules make's it seems like they could when they are lumped into the "MTF Operative" category, also to clarify this change wouldnt allow ISD CSG or lower to order any CL4, just make it so that they could by the rules definition order any CL3, which should already be the case as they may need to do so for their duty, and as for the 'when under Site Command Orders" placement that just makes sense coinciding with assistants as when given orders they are acting as that Site Command branch and need the authority to bypass any other rank restrictions should it be called for.
