Denied GOC Weapon Balancing

This suggestion has been denied and will not receive development.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion makes it so that Global Occult Coalition weapons do really good damage to SCPs, but average damage to humans.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not that I’m aware of.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Balances GOC weapons against humans.
- Keeps their damage on SCPs.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- GOCs weapons become average against humans which removes some of their pizzazz.

Based on the Positives Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Overall, GOCs weapons are way too powerful on humans and considering the point of the Global Occult Coalition is mainly to combat SCPs and find ways to terminate them, they shouldn’t be super overpowered against humans.

I think you are forgetting what GOC's main mission is.

"To keep the peace and maintain friendly relations between occult organizations, protect humanity against all threats paranormal, parascientific, and paratemporal, and take any actions required to ensure the survival of the human race."

While yes, that goes to anomalies, they can, and should be using their weapaons if it goes against any of their Fivefold mission.

The guns also are okay, decent, it's more so the suits. And those cost a lot :)
 
In a game balance perspective GOC is broken, GOC is manageable in combat if they don't have Y-SUITS. So far every time GOC has raided CI we've been spawn camped for like 5 minutes by a Y-SUIT even with a large amount of people.

They still shouldn’t be able to overpower Foundation and CI with their base weapons in my opinion.
 
The GOC guns are strong because they are supposed to be, since the last nerf they are just not way too overpowered anymore. But as blob said, more damage against SCPs pls. For the volt and IC rules part, usually during a war, second mission concerns are wiped (on UK), allowing the use of Energy Weapons.

And as Claire just said, GOC is the RP Faction and if you want to mess with the RP Faction by forcing them into combat, good luck.

Forgot to add: the Longbow isnt really that good because the scope is bad IN MY OPINION. The wiggling around after a reload doesnt help aiming any more.
