Denied Helicopter take little damage from bullets

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Well during wars when theres constant enemy CAS incoming and your allies don't have any helicopters left all you can do is hope for an aarti to kill the helicopter or with a stinger, most of the time i cant even shoot a stinger in time because i get immediately killed during all the chaos, and when theres only like 2 anti armor on it makes it really hard to fight in wars when you get constantly bombed and cant do anything about it. Making bullets deal slight damage to helicopters can put some advantage for ground troops to fight helicopters, not asking to make bullets one shot the helicopters, but maybe if like you dumped 4-5 mags into the helicopter it would need to rtb.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Simple infantry can fight back against helicopters during wars which seem to be one sided when theres only cas on one side.
Less pressure for helicopters and aartis to always rush to fight off enemy helicopters.


Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Well if 20 people start blasting one helicopter i dont think it would survive long but one cas can end all of it so i dont really see a huge negative.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:[/B]
Because when theres no stocks on one side, the war is already won by the side that has heli stocks and that seems to be overpowered.

I know helis are annoying but there are lots of ways to counter helis with stingers,at4|matador|rpg,helis it self and artis even some tac assets can be used to kill a heli
cant stinger em when youre getting cassed and shot at my enemy infantry heavily, matadors dont do alot of damage to helis, cant do anything when theres no pilots or stock, artis can be easily destroyed by ground troops. Its realistic that a helicopter could be damaged by ground troops bullets and it would make it so we wouldnt have to rely on helicopters or anti air to destroy enemy air support

Arti if the one operating that has a brain and has ground awareness he won't die fast. also i forgot to add kwk's are also a thing that we use to counter helis there is lots that helis allready get countered by if bullets are gonna be a other thing that counters helis it would be so aids for them its like yo if we shoot tank with gun it will explode nah I don't think this will be a good idea and it will hurt the heli regs in general

I'm not asking for bullets to do a lot of damage, only slight damage, because atm if theres no kwks on the fob, no air support, no aartis, you are completely fucked against enemy air support because by the time you lock on a enemy helicopter you die either by cas or enemy infantry and yet they need to spin a few 360's to dodge the stinger or just flare. kwks dont help also because you get bombed instantly or the kwk gets destroyed because the enemy cas just oblitirates your fob. its a rare situation that this happens but it does and its unplayable

A single infantry shouldn't be able to solo a helicopter with small arms fire, but like 5 or more infantry with concentrated fire should absolutely be doing enough damage to drive the helicopter away at the very least. We don't want it destroying with one clip, but want it so that if enough people are firing it should require an extensive repair

Explained it a lot of times, 1 person with a stinger wont do anything against a helicopter, aartis can be easily destroyed, cant use kwk if the fob has been bombed to nothing, atm the side which has more heli stocks is the one who will win the war, u saw that yesterday zapso when we played the last war.

Stingers aren't available to lower infantry ranks and don't work well to begin with. Sustained small arms fire from multiple infantry should be an effective counter if done right. The pilots might complain about no longer being able to spawn-kill infantry without any real threat to them, but right now the infantry gameplay is ridiculous. As with tanks, there's nothing to stop helis retreating to repair once they've been chipped down in health.

We got a lot of counters to heils already, we don't need more such as KWK if angle right, SAM when rebuilt, Stringers, AA Artis, UAF when they are about,

You're saying to not introduce this in case they may decide one day to make tanks vulnerable to small arms fire? That's some mental gymnastics there bud

Nobody is going to suggest tanks be vulnerable to small arms fire, tanks are armoured vehicles legit designed to withstand it, helicopters irl can be damaged by small arms fire, tanks can't. Nobody is going to suggest that.

Plus every counter to a helicopter can't be done reliably by one person, you can't seriously look at the situation where one side has no pilots and think 'hmm yes this is fine'

That makes little sense buddy, the fact is that you actually have a chance to solo a tank because the cover you use helps you, and you have grenades plus an rpg, but for a helicopter you might shoot out one stinger before being sent back to lord himself. You cant camp with an fob with a tank because a lot of infantry will chuck grenades at it but a helicopter can because not everyone has a stinger so adding bullet damage to helicopters would make a better chance to do something about it instead of just coping.
