Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- out of the main 3 roles (GENSEC, Medical, and Research) Research has stuck out as the most interesting to me this also makes me want to pursue its position more and give myself more of a reason to take the roleplay on this server more seriously. I also believe Research is the most uninviting of the three roles seeing as it has the most amount of come and go members due to it being confusing, by gaining the Exec. position I would be somebody both newer and experienced members of Research staff could look to for motivation, ideas, approval, and guidance from, that alone is enough reason for me.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I think I would be suitable because of the dedication I am willing to put forward to assist the research department in being more enjoyable for those looking to try it, or those that are already involved with it. I want an opportunity to bring new ideas to the table on the smaller and bigger ends of this part of the foundation.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- 3 Excellent Documents, and I believe a document would be considered "excellent" based off of the creativity, passion, and professionalism inside and behind the document.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
The main responsibilities of an Executive Researcher are overseeing those below you to make sure they follow the rules and know what they're doing, approving within reasonable documents and testing for those who seek it, and reviewing and grading documentation that have been submitted by your researchers.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- Jay first joined the foundation as a quick Security gig for money however he didn't realize what he was getting into. He quickly realized that he'd receive the money he was searching for but knew far to much to return home any time soon. He spent his next couple of weeks within the foundation narrowly surviving encounters with rioting Class D personnel, being yelled at by Sergeants and Captains for hours on end, and watching those he befriended for even the briefest moments get taken to alternate dimensions, receive snapped necks, or just be outright stabbed everyday. Eventually his final straw was when a Captain yelled at him for a poor sweep that had factors out of his control, so he brought his issue up to Site Administration and was offered a new job as Junior Research staff. Taking up this job offer immediately he quickly took an interest to the SCPs that he's seen from escorting, and some new ones he's never seen before. This interest evolved into passion for the field and he quickly began to help out other Junior staff while writing new documents on the things that made him start questioning the SCPs the most. Now his story reaches this point where an attempt for Executive is submitted.
- As for storylines I think my character would be involved in I personally take a liking to many of the SCPs that are not currently present but occasionally show up for events, so I think Jay would be good for involvement in Event SCPs.
