What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Currently you can scavenge for 2 hours straight and get no cyanide or empty pills. The addition of new items to the loot pool has also decreased those odds. Add a system where after 50 - 100 crates your're guaranteed cyanide items. Or make cyanide stuff slightly more common. Scavenging level could potentially improve the drop rate too, so people who've worked up to the higher levels feel more rewarded.
Also make it so higher scavenging levels reduce the time it takes to loot a box. Really just any level of depth to the system.

Yes, back in late 2021 - early 2022 there was a post on the discord about scavenging and RNG but the SL at the time forgot to implement it.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Less boring gameplay scavenging loop.
Less RNG and more reason to dedicate time to scavenging / civ where it's best to scavenge on.
Signifigant improvement to the old system with the leveling mechanics I suggested.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
People might cry because new players haven't experienced the golden age of cyanide pills and won't like it when someone uses them and could feel traumatized (they are almost non existent now)
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The scavenging gameplay loop is about as boring as possible, and has an awful time to profit ratio. There are less players than there used to be back in the day so there's less people consistently scavenging like in old MRP. The scavenger role has pretty much completely died out, same with civ mains. And RNG with horrrible return rates isn't fun.
- also a new super rare new type of scavenging crate could be added like the christmas ones or the medical cases on SCP, that are guaranteed to have good items.
