Accepted make it not a requirement for team speak

[make it so that team speak does not need to be a requirement as you can easily speak in game about stuff and make groups in game]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[makes it less of an issue for people that don't have team speak and are unable to download it and for people that don't have mics it pointless them joining team speak and it should be optional on if you want it or not]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion
[obviously this controversial but it would make it an issue for people that like to communicate on TeamSpeak Aswell]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted

I don't know if you've ever been in a position where you're supposed to direct players, but if there's someone who isn't in teamspeak, passing orders along to them becomes extremely diffuclt. Even in recent experience, PVTs who've joined IVG and haven't had teamspeak, or haven't properly sorted out their mics, have basically been complete wildcards, and basically useless towards any wars.
It's impossible to coordinate with people outside of teamspeak, there's no guarantee they'll read comms considering you can't see it when dead and a lot of useless filler gets put in the chat box no matter what.

Teamspeak is a requirement for extremely good reasons. Unless there's at least an equivalent comms alternative I don't want any restrictions to be loosened.

I agree with TS3 is a little bit too "old school" but communication especially in MRP is super important

Everyone who suggests this misses the point entirely. TS3 is more reliable, customisable and dynamic than discord would be. Imagine the MRP discord with 50+ voice channels, and then the text channels on top of that, it makes it really unfriendly for new users.

Just get teamspeak, it's really not difficult nor is it a mammoth task. It takes 5 minutes and it greatly improves communication.

Regiments should not be requiring microphones or TS3 to join, except for special forces regiments which are allowed to have this as a joining requirement. I stated this about microphones a while ago but didn't write it down, so good opportunity to re-state it. Nobody should be prevented from playing our server because they can't install TS3 or afford a microphone.

Regiments can, however, deny you promotions or licenses if you don't use a microphone or TS3. These should be proportional and properly justified, for instance I could see a heli regiment reasonably denying pilot licenses to those without TS3, and any regiment denying CO promotions if you don't have a mic. But locking you at PVT because you don't have a microphone is not proportional, people should be allowed to at least work their way up a little bit (perhaps to an NCO or SNCO rank - again, depending on how important voice comms are to that regiment) before getting told they need a microphone or TS3 to go further.
