What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
making it so CI cant use any more 008 after a nuke and they have to reobtain it legitimately

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
dont know

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
better server performance
more rp
servers not fucking unbearable to play at times

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
ci whining that they cant cause constant 008 breaches and absolutely destroy the server performance

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
it should be accepted because nobody likes fighting 008 breaches its literally the most boring shit ever
you fight overpowered 008 zombies and almost every time its just gonna be a nuke so then after the nuke people finally rejoice as they can actually enjoy the server and do what they were supposed to do which is RP but oh wait CI have yet another 008 that they are now gonna crash the server and ruin RP

just make it so ci cant use spare 008 they have after a nuke please servers not fucking fun when its just 008 breaches constantly

The cancerous breach that happened with 008 recently was due to an alpha purposefully infecting himself then zombies were bugged and had invincible HP since we were sampling 008 :/
Tbf, you also had a MC&D bring zombies to vents
There was gonna be another breach either way, the CI infection just worsened it

ive talked to a US CI CO about it, and it does seem like an issue. I personally would prefer that this rule didn't get implemented (As on UK CI we use the excess syringes for sampling), but if it comes down to server health on the US, i would much prefer it gets implemented
(UK CI could also do the sampling first, and then breach 008, so they would use them before nuke went off)

tbh all i really want is a server rule implemented 008 breach cooldown because it fucking decimates server health and as far as i know theres no 008 breach cooldown i'd say around 4 hours is a good amount of time for a cooldown because back to back breaches is utter torture

that's a much more resonable suggestion i think you should post rather than this, i think nobody would disagree with an 008 cooldown suggestion, the only possible downside i could think of is those 3am breaches that always end with zombies

if 4 hours is good enough for you guys on the US, you defo deserve a break lmfao

ok thats cool name 2 other things 😲
"What sparked this change was indeed from the UK server. Server Leadership+, some players/GMs played on Internal Affairs for roughly 6 hours across 3 days and what they found was that ISD take control over most situations. They swoop in and steal the RolePlay essentially. Internal Affairs had been blocked off from accessing Interrogation Areas where the arrest NPC is, blocked off from the medical centre, blocked from entering D-Block all because ISD didn't allow it. As far as I am aware these situations were not ordered by Site Command but because ISD are "the action arms" of ISD no one questions their actions and they just go with it."
This is in relation to arrest changes. After making this change, they went into US comms and retroactively found a reason to say it also applied to the US server, even though this change doesn't effect the policies they had issue with, and the polices were agreed upon by IA/SC. No one but them has had issues with it.

Secondly is keycard override, in which US SL either didn't attend, or didn't contribute anything. The only people bringing up points were UK SL, and all the "issues" they brought up didn't apply to the US server.

As a past CI LTCOM, and current MCOM on the UK, i'll give what CO's know about this topic.

Lets CI exfil with.... I don't know, 3 008 syringes, and they decide they want to breach it. They use 2 syringes to breach it, and all goes well. A nuke goes off, and CI have done their thing. Now, CI still have a 3rd 008 syringe. What do they do with it? They got it fair and square, and why would they lose it after nuke? They keep their keycards, upgrades, etc, even after the nuke (Which is a RP Reset)

What's been agreed upon by the CI CO's on the UK (Past only breaching 008 around once a week) is that we would use that last syringe for CI testing and RP. Do a 008 sampling, test what X, Y, and Z can do, etc.

Now if the US CI are constantly breaching 008, and causing mass breaches of it twice in one day, they have failed as RP Leaders, and it should be addressed to their higher ups. And even based on the comments, I can't tell if this was a one time thing, or if this is a common occurrence or not. Although the sentiment is "CI shouldn't be causing 008 mass breaches multiple times a day", which is completely fair.

OK SO I DECIDED TO ACTUALLY HAVE A LOOK THROUGH CI RAID LOGS AND UH

YEA THIS DOES SEEM LIKE A BIT OF AN ISSUE

-Support
-US issue fr ong!!!!!!

+/-Neutral
-Although it is a US specific issue, it is one that (based on CI raid logs), seems to be affecting server health negatively.

WHAT THE FUCK.
Are US CI alright? That amount of 008 is beyond absurd.

+Support

Nuke is meant to be an RP reset because breaches have taken over the site and aren't containable. It isn't fair to deal with the same situation 20 minutes after a nuke. After all this is a RP server not a breach/raid server every 20 minutes.

RP Server that has a focus on breaches and combat. Nobody RPs on here.

+Support tho

Suggestion Approved

Hi @Betriv ,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.

It is already a rule that all 008 syringes should be removed after a nuke and replaced in their chamber. There is a GitHub ticket up for it to be done automatically .

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as accepted.
