What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Gives a separate menu or makes use of the current map menu to allow you to draw on it and share it with your side, with different selectable colors to make distinctions between regiments easier and maybe specific symbols but that's pushing it.
It would allow leadership to more easily direct their wars by giving select directions to each regiment with said drawings on the map or to give simplified blueprints for FOB layouts and structure placements.
Possible ways for it to be transmitted:
1. Either a new mail menu that you can send the maps through as image (would make pms more easibly seen as well so double feature, would get SCP something out of this too). Although this would take more dev time so low chance.
2. Transmit it via allowing it to be put on a clipboard and printed or put on a projector for leadership to see before war.
3. Ye olden screenshot and put on discord.
4. Fireteam system gets access to a map but that'd be too small scale.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
To my knowledge no.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
More organisation for either side if they decide to use the system. Could shake up the formula a bit instead of just Bumrushing a point and dying miserably because people only go in straight lines.
Could set up specific movement paths for strategising if there's a visual aid for whatever regiment is being directed.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
People are gonna say this is undermining the orders system, but 1. Those clog up your screen and map if too many are placed. 2. they only show specific points on the map.
People are gonna draw dicks on them.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Again, more possibility to strategise and try unique approaches instead of blindly rushing a point trying to capture it. Variety is the spice of life, would make the server a bit more interesting if people engaged with the idea.
