Denied Nerf Cameras.

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove the ability for cameras to display "UNKNOWN" on GOIs exclusively, and look past all GOI disguises. It is blatantly overpowered and way too power-game-y, and really destroys chances for a DC/AR to be successful. Especially since O5 have almost nothing to do around the site but sit on cameras and make ISD terminate Class-Ds and DC/ARs.

Reuse the existing "UNKNOWN" feature to be displayed randomly on players, instead of consistently on GOIs. Cameras and Database systems often have issues or glitches, and the CCTV box can have it's HP upped to 4 instead of 2, with lower HP resulting in more "UNKNOWN"s displaying randomly on personnel.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ Deep-Cover/Assessment Raids can actually occur with more success.
+ Cameras will still be useful for identifying GOIs, but it'd require more than just sitting there and seeing someone on cameras doing nothing.
+ ISD can be used less as hit-men and more as Internal Security.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- ISD wont get to kill/dunk on DC/ARs as often.
- DEA wont get to kill/dunk on DC/ARs as often.
- O5 will return to being nearly useless(no offense).

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Its really annoying that the only reason DC/ARs are exposed is because cameras, and code-words. It makes them really impossible to actually conduct without immediately breaking cover to kill MTF, resulting in way too little RP scenarios where DCs/ARs pull a valid ID.

You can break the camera with a gun.
They have massive HP pools for fucking cameras. You can break them, but you also blow your cover breaking them if ANYONE is nearby. This is not a fix or solution for AR/DCs.

Especially since A-1 will bring GOIs in front of cameras, and kill them without a word spoken in-game because of TS comms.

So this point is null & void.

What if cameras were nerfed then? such as the smaller cameras can be one shot by a pistol (for instance) and then the heavier cameras like LCZ D-block or HCZ cams can be shot by mutiple shots?

That would fall under a seperate suggestion. My current suggestion is to remove the ability for cameras to look past all disguises, instead replacing the displayed name as the individual the person is disguised as. Additional parts of the suggestion re-use the "UNKNOWN" designation given to all GOI personnel(currently).

Cameras need a good few seconds to actually scan a person, so an UNKNOWN showing up is not instant, and even then it is not an instant cause for alert.
Cameras working against the rather difficult to anticipate disguises (if someone is watching that specific camera right now which is rare) is a good way to give them use, and a good way to incenvitivise Infiltrators to sabotage or avoid them out of self interest.

This feature adds needed depth to infiltration and disguises and makes infiltrating disguised much more interesting.

This feature exposes any and all DC/ARs within 3 seconds. No, it is not rare for someone to "be watching the right camera at the right time", because the cameras can scan for players, and automatically flip to unknow targets, or specific Class-D targets. It is an immediate cause for alarm because after the first 3 seconds of ANY camera seeing you, it will instantly scan you from that point forward. Regardless of time between scans, or cameras, it never has to re-scan you.

It forces infiltrators to avoid them at all costs. Cameras take more than 3 seconds to break, and once a camera marks someone as unknown who's breaking cameras, its a Code-1 reason.

From that point, if you are captured and avoid both a keycard check AND a code-word check somehow, you can still just be put infront of a camera and if it says "unknown" you can be killed. Cameras exclusively put unknown on GOIs, so often times DEA will EST, then interrogate a GOI to get their keycards.

This -Support comes from a complete lack of interaction or use with the camera system and the disguise system overall. DC/ARs are already challenging enough, they don't need to be physically impossible to conduct. Especially with the lack of RP involved with capturing DC/ARs already.
